The shelf's can be empty at times and the fridges. The shop is nice and clean but if you need a member of staff, they are hard to find.

Well stocked and handy store with a good range of different everyday foods, beer etc. Not unreasonably expensive either.

SCAM! Watch the prices as it can be different at the shelf and at the till..Starbucks doubleshot £1.50 at the shelf, £2.30 at the till ....5 out of 5 times this week...Gonna avoid this place (wondering how many times had to pay more when I did not check the values)Update: they are scammers as it' 's happened multiple times and despite of warnings they not sorted out!

OK, but a few gripes:Nice to have more variety (especially the fresh bakery), but a lot of stuff is more expensive than in the corner store it put out of business. In 2020, the press announced "The former Bath Store building on Buxton Road, is being transformed into the new store, which is due to open in 2021 and will run entirely on renewable electricity." Did that happen? It has 60+ square metres of south-facing roof with no solar PV, so possibly not (I would love to be proved wrong). Finally the pedestrian access is terrible to the point of being unsafe-you have to walk around the cars that are parked right up to the entrance and then wriggle around the bollards. Why not a marked and protected path? There is plenty of room.Update August 2022: Got a reply from COOP re renewable energy, and they say that they use renewable energy suppliers. Good so far as it goes, but that roof filled with panels would be a highly visible sign of commitment.

I use the self service pay machine's in the co op to use up 3 tubs of coins IV got but coins get stuck in the coin in part of the machine and ended up putting in more coins than the total price so after finding that out I use my co op card to push the coins in but still not all the coins got in to the machine so told one of the staff and he called another man to sort it out and when he opened up the self service machine there was another place where coins get stuck, many customers are loosing money using these machines, also some coins that drop on the floor roll under the machine & can't get them back, the co op is already expensive at it is,
