The Entertainment Team including Maisie, Olivia, Gemma and Gio were very entertaining and helpful. The Caravan we were staying in was very nice the Staff were very friendly from Security to Bar Staff. My only complaint is the bus service from Bowleaze cove to Weymouth, I could not see why the price was £8 for 2 adult single ticket for a 10 minute journey when a bus ticket to Swanage from Weymouth is £2 each for hour and a half journey. Apart from that it was a great holiday.

The variety of bars and restaurants on site is brilliant there?s something for everyone. The staff are so friendly. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. The bonus is this is right on the beach. We spend time as a family in Weymouth every year and we have all booked next years annual trip at Bowleaze Cove. Absolutely loved every minute of our time here. The facilities are brilliant. We will see you next year.

Disappointing return to stay here after a stay approximately 7 years ago. We decided to treat ourselves and stay in a Safari Lodge, a lot more pricy than the usual nice caravan. We had seen these before and promised a stay. On arrival was told by bookings that we would be directed straight to the lodge, the gate security sent us to park and check in. The lady was not amused, took our car registration and told up to go to the lodge giving us the number, 1. On going out of the reception she followed us and I commented to my husband she?s going to give him a telling off, yes to right I am she said. Off we go arrive at lodge. First impressions were very nice, more space than a caravan. Bedroom with double bed was quite tight on space wooden bed corners not good for knees be aware! Outside a lovely hot tub of good size for at least four comfortably. Nice and clean. The fencing around the decking to be desired a split in bar luckily No Children to catch themselves on. Lots of cobwebs which I can imagine are tricky to keep on top of. Very dusty walls inside shoes up by lighted lamps. Bed was comfy - double bed. The shower very tight if you are large you?d struggle getting in and moving around in the area. The gas lighted boiler went out and no hot water. We checked the boiler for an F2 error. We called the reception at 7:20pm no answer and to be told office now closed although it says it?s open until 8pm! We called emergency line left a message to say we had press reset hoping it was ok, the boiler fired up. No instructions anywhere to do so but we did and glad we had as we had no call back to see if all ok and not even a call the next day!!! Not impressed? As the week went on terrible drain smell from shower absolutely off putting to get into. No we didn?t bother calling reception as after going back to get a barrier exit card that was missing the face was enough of disapproval. So deodorant spray we used each time we ventured in! Bad planning for these lodges if you are on the right side like we were, the back is great to sit outside rather than a Superior on the front on road, however the new Stables development is being build at the very top of the site and a gravel track runs up to it, very nice they are at a price BUT the noise of trucks, vans and car driving at speed is horrid, not a peaceful place to stay. Also note driver white van think Trowel moving so fast needs to slow down!! So many times flew around the corner thought he?d join us! Paying £1500 to stay a week in luxury sadly for us didn?t happen and has put us off coming again. Such a shame when the bar areas by the front have vastly improved except for no wasps catching pots the beach were crazed with them and stinking seaweed. It truly is the little things that matter. Nice grounds kept by the gardeners! BUT why does the road sweeper have to keep going up and down every hour practically!!! Oh yes to keep the building work dirty road clean from the loose gravel!!!

I have stayed at Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park (Previously known as Waterside) annually for the last 9 years. On a recent visit to the park I found that the park continues to deliver high quality in terms of the accommodation, entertainment, site facilities and general cleanliness of the site. All that said around 2019 the site introduced the option to customer to bring their pet dogs with them for an additional fee. Whilst I have no objection to dogs, the level of dog barking made me feel that I was staying in a commercial dog kennel. Once one dog starts barking then a chorus of dogs bark through out the site. So for the first time in years we are now considering alternatives site for our next holiday.

The first thing we found was not a lot of parking be reception. That being said the reception staff were very helpful. The cavan was spotlessly clean. But the problem was turn my car around. (it is a normal size car and it only just fitted)

Check in nice and smooth and caravan cleanliness was very good, Few problems in sports bar we ordered a jug of cocktail but it was not the right alcohol for the type of cocktail we took back up to bar and explained and the guy looked as though he couldn't be bothered to rectify it.eventually got it sorted but could have done without the attitude, Same guy was helping himself to snacks/nuts at end of the bar on various occasions which wasn't very professional or hygienic as he was using his hands. Also ordered a child's mini donuts dessert which hadn't arrived after 30 mins so went up to ask how long and they hadn't even put the order through. Park was spotless as usual. Still a lot of non residents using Southside facilities and seeing as you can walk straight up from the beach with no checks it's not surprising, I suppose this is a revenue stream Waterside would be reluctant to end even though it seems unfair that you've paid all that money to stay on-site and someone can turn up for the day and use all of Southside facilities for free?. Maybe you could have 2 pricing structures 1 for residents and 1 for non residents policed by the showing of a pass. Finally on the last night of our stay the caravan next to us started playing loud music and shouting from 6pm until 11.30pm! We called security at 10.30pm as we had a young child with us and was told someone would be out to sort it, about 15mins later security came out and had a word the music was turned down until security left then straight back up even louder, We rang security again at 11pm and they said they were just locking up and would come out again. 11.30pm and no sign of security eventually the music stopped as the party ended on its own. The following is from your terms and conditions (You are not permitted to use the Hot Tub after 11pm and ask that when doing so after 10pm that noise be kept to a minimum). I know that it's a bit of a lottery who you will be next to when you go on holiday but we felt let down by your security even though your own rules were clearly breached by these residents and action should have been taken sooner as you are a family friendly site.

Amazing! After visiting for our 15th year as a family I have to say this was the best yet. We have 3 kids 15, 8, 2 and there is stuff to keep everyone happy. The park is so inviting and clean and from the first point of contact in reception to the park staff right through to security nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed a variety of activities with the starside crew both during the day and night. They put in 100% to their cabaret nights, kids entertainment and the running of entertainment in general. We are on site at each of the venues maybe a little more choice in the southside bar and grill would be a good idea other than that we enjoyed all we had. Play area is brilliant for the little ones and the swimming pools are a big hit each time we visit. We can?t wait to return and would strongly recommend this lovely place for an all round 5* family holiday. If you do go and something isn?t quite right just ask they are more than happy to help. We can?t wait to return in October. Thank you all for an amazing time. Danielle pennicott

We?ve been to Waterside at Bowleaze Cove a number of times over the years, from when I was child through to now where we are taking our own children aged nine and seven; we don?t look anywhere else. Our last visit was in 2016 when my youngest was just a baby so we were excited to return. The first thing that struck us was that the site seems so congested now. Maybe memories are playing tricks on me, but I don?t remember all the caravans being so close together in terms of, they are now literally a car?s width apart. As a result, it means that if you sit on your decking, you can easily chat with the caravans either side as they are so close to you. We splashed out on a Signature caravan, 3 bedrooms with hot tub. The caravan was lovely, probably the nicest we?ve ever stayed in. The layout was superb with such a lovely spacious master bedroom. That said, we had to get maintenance to look at the boiler and even then, the hot water was a bit hit and miss when having a shower. I?d suggest that the mattress needs replacing in the master bedroom as it was awful; very uncomfortable indeed. The hot tub was lovely but again, you sit in there whilst next door can watch you out of their window. There are now a lot more places to eat on site which was really nice. We went over to the entertainment and was amazed that it wasn?t packed out ? but then found it was so loud, it was too loud, and we decided to leave again without getting a drink, along with many others that seemed to do the same. I would have thought that having space in the summer holidays and people leaving at the start is a sure sign that something is not right. The onsite pool is great, our children loved going on the slides. Weymouth and the surrounding area was as lovely as ever. So, all in all, we did enjoy our stay, but I think for us, when we return to Weymouth next, we?ll probably look elsewhere rather than simply defaulting back to Waterside Bowleaze Cove.

Good clean caravan site. This is a very hilly area so all the caravan plots were on stilts. The roadways were well maintained with clear parking for each van. We stayed in a site run can. It was clean, well maintained with all the equipment we needed for our stay. Close to the pebbled beach so handy to get to the sea. They hire paddleboards and peddlos but you can take your own sup to the beach. The swimming pool was good with a couple of small slides and a heated outdoor pool. Pools are fairly shallow and do get very busy. Take a £1 for the lockers. Lots of play areas for the kids. The venue is very bust of a evening with lots of people getting in early for a seat, but we managed to find somewhere to sit when we went. Entertainment is hit and miss. The crew try their best and put on a few shows of their own mid-week, but acts are also brought in. The best was the 90s rave they had the place dancing the strangest was the glow up puppet show. There is a restaurant and snack bar. Neither are value for money, but you can also get pizzas and fish and chips on site. There are activities such as archery and segways you have to pay for. It was a good site which I would recommend and there is do much in the area to see and do for days out it was a great base location.

My 7-year-old daughter loved it so much that we rebooked for next year within a day of getting home. Plenty to keep kids occupied even when the weather?s miserable (as it was for large parts in July 2023) and of course loads to do when the sun does occasionally shine. Alan and Maisie, the two standout stars of the entertainment crew, seemed to work non-stop, on-stage at 10.30am to entertain the kids, reappearing to lead a kids' disco in the early evening then entertaining the parents into the night. Both were brilliant, for both kids and adults: funny and talented. If you?re reading this Alan or Maisie ? the kids find you both far more entertaining than the supposed star of the show, the bizarrely-voiced kangaroo type creature, Boomer.

Well, where to start with our Family trip to the wonderful Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park? 1. Pre- holiday and booking was easy with plenty of help and information along the way. On day of check in again was easy, lots of useful information in caravan. Caravan was spotless and looked like it had never had anyone living in it, we were on GH section and everything was nice and easy to get to. 2. The food and drink was of a high quality and no different to what we pay back home just along the south coast in Hants. Plenty of choice for all tastes. 3. I have left the best bit to last the entertainment. The crew of Maisie, Gemma, Olivia, George and Connor were absolutely superb throughout the week . We loved the shows especially the Jubilee and Rock shows. Each singer brings their own qualities and their voices in harmonies really work well. For the younger members of the family ranging from 18months to teenagers the mix was excellent with Boomer keeping all entertained. The ents Manager has obviously worked hard at pulling together a talented team that really care about giving people a great time, we even won at Bingo. 4. The park is so clean and tidy, the team work tirelessly to ensure that the park looks amazing all the time, a very pleasant and welcoming extra!! The ultimate accolade I cAn give is that we are booking to come back at October half term., we'll done all thanks for a great holiday

Wow just wow, we came as a large family party and all had the best time. The park is absolutely stunning, very clean and well maintained. We used the pool and had great fun, changing areas very clean. The evening entertainment team were amazing, Maisie (what an amazing voice) Gemma, Olivia , Gio (loved your George Michael) and Connor. We loved the teams shows especially the Rock show. You guys really work hard and have a smile for everyone. The food in the Venue can be ordered to your table, it was delicious. It was lovely to have the option to get a bus from the park into Weymouth. I highly recommend this park all ages are catered for. Will definitely be returning.

Make sure you don?t leave anything accidentally in your lodge/caravan, my £600 trainers I left (my fault to leave but not the point) were taken by the housekeepers. Still waiting for a ?promised call back? from a manager 48 hours later??

Stayed for 4 nights end of July myself, hubby & 9 yr old boy. Booked this as the appeal was location on the beach and a smaller independent site than the usual Havens (not a fan of them). We are frequent Center Parks goers and this has that laid back vibe we were looking for. This place was perfect for us, got in our caravan earlier than expecting. (Yes the vans are close together but this wasn?t an issue for us). All the staff from check in, bars, shops and entertainment team are all lovely and friendly. We don?t normally do entertainment as find it pretty terrible but this was a high standard from the external acts to the entertainment team. There are a few different places on site to eat and I loved the fact they all have different menus. Often as a vegetarian I get sake option in all Venues. You can order food also to be delivered to your van or delivered to your table in the venue. There are 2 great play areas and one right next to the outdoor bar so we could relax with a beer & seaview and the little one could play. It?s a cracking location right on the beach. You could walk into Weymouth but it?s about an hour so we chose to do a bus ride in which actually came into the holiday park and ran every 30 minutes. The whole park is spotlessly clean, cleanest holiday park I?ve ever been too. You can see people clearing tables constantly. Will definitely return here it is just the sort of caravan park we have been looking for. Clean, lovely staff and customers and totally chilled vibe.
