Just had a procedure at ward 20 and wanted to say my treatment was first class. All the staff were really professional and looked after me. I was very anxious but they all put me at ease. Thanks again to all the wonderful staff who looked after me.

What an excellent ward ,ward 7 is. I live in Buckinghamshire, an only child and they looked after my mother exceptionally well and kept me fully in the loop regarding her progression when I had to return home. I can't praise all staff enough. You hear reports about poor service in hospitals but not in my experience of Bishop Auckland hospital ward 7. Brilliant!!!

Staff are great. Parking is anything but. Visiting is 1 hour but you have to pay for upto 2 hours. And its cash only. Don't carry much lose change these days, so was 20p short of the min £3. Had to sit in car while wife visited.

One of my friends and carers was experiencing health problems and through a econsult with one of your paramedics booked a appointment for 14:30 this afternoon and your staff turned around and refused rudely in a shouty antagonistic tone to allow them to be seen or diagnose them on the grounds that they didn?t have a visible injury. So they?ve had to drive all the way to Darlington hospital and be told that they might have a complication with their health but the Darlington doctor hopes that is not the case. But basically because of your jumped up and ill-mannered staff refused to see them, they could have potentially experienced further health complications driving to Darlington hospital because of this. You people are a utter disgrace to the words medical professionals, I have never witnessed or heard of such cruelty and lack of professionalism and compassion committed by supposedly trained professionals as today, you all should be ashamed of yourselves and resign from the medical profession if you can?t be bothered to actually treat people looking for assistance with kindness and compassion.

Visited today for a liver scan. I was early for my appointment but still shown in straight away. The nurse and technician were both very friendly, helpful and approachable. They cracked straight on and were very professional and considerate. The hospital was clean and the x-ray department was also clean and tidy. Receptionist was friendly and helpfulOnly downside is the high parking charges - £3 just to pull in. The system is ludicrous - you have to pay in advance, even though you have no idea how long you might be there. I dont know of any other hospital which still operates this way.For example 1-3 hours is £3, 3-4 hours is £4But if you put £3 in and have to stay longer then you cant go back and top it up - you have to put another £3 in. Combined with the small number of parking spaces available it is one area that could be improved - hence the 4 stars instead of 5

Ward 16 it Absolutely the best care all round . All the staff are so friendly and caring no matter what role they play .They keep you well informed about your treatment and nothing is too much bother for them definitely 5*

Saw a member of staff shopping with her mother and child a full shop in Sainsbury's this afternoon ..the mother said to the lady ..mummy's just finished work ...clearly couldn't be bothered to get changed ...and was visibly dirty ...although this is discouraged to do this clearly this particular member of staff couldn't be even bothered to cover her uniform with her coat ,that is if she had one ...it's just realy ..it just realy gives the impression ..as usual they cannot be bothered ..nothing matters and they'll do there own thing ..soooo nice example to set your little girl ...NOT GOOD as if certain member of staff already have an attitude ..it seems management cannot be bothered to inforce either ...lack of disapline ...no wonder hospitals are on the way down...

Fix the out of hours coffee machine so it actually works when trying to make a payment!!!! Once the shutters go down on the cafe it never works!! Unless you want to keep trying and.on the 15th attempt it accepts it!

Phoned 111 got appointment at Urgent care only to arrive to find out I had to wait 3 to 4 hours x-ray closed when I got seen to had to go through the same process next day

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff, most willing to go a little further to help you.Only really used the Ophthalmology Clinic lately, but I can highly rate the level of care and expertise provided by all the staff hereThank you to all.Highly recommended.
