I arranged for them to collect 'as new' Mamas & Papas furniture (2 wardrobes, 1 dresser/drawers). Collection was as vague as "9am to 5pm" so I had to stay in all day. I rang after 5pm (as they still hadn't collected) only then to be told they were running late "as 1 of the vans wasn't working". When they arrived at 5.30pm the driver came to the back door (I'd left collection notes to state easier access to front door). He then came in shook the items and said he didn't want them, and left. I have no doubt that, had they been collected on the morning, they would have been happy to take them. It was obvious he was working late and couldn't be bothered. Complete waste of time. These would have been a total bargain for someone.

I?ve taken some things down here before and they?ve accepted them, but not long ago I took a load of books and videos down and they went ?What do we do with all of these??. Uhh...?I?ve never known a charity shop actually be ungrateful for donations. I thought that was the point. If I have something else, maybe I?ll visit somewhere else who?s actually grateful for them, because ?What do we do with all of these?? definitely doesn?t show that.
