Awful company. Paid the £100 excess for a replacement phone and have been sent a faulty one. The ONLY option is to send this back and be without a phone for nearly 2 weeks while they diagnose this one. Your wrongdoing now means I have to be without contact for nearly 2 weekends. Nationwide Flexplus is a joke and scam!

We have tried 8 times to open a 1 Yr bond on line, but website states there is a tech problem, its not your fault pls try again later. We have been into the branch and tried again infront of the staff but again unsuccessful. We have had staff contact us via telephone asking us to try again, surprise it was unsuccessful again. We asked if we could open a branch 1 Yr bond to be told we have no appointments. Not impressed at all. So you have lost a 6 figure investment which has gone to Yorkshire building society who have been extremely helpful.

Bloody hopeless. My mother, who is 87 & disabled, wanted to open an account to pay her pension into. Nobody there to deal with it. Suggested applying online, but would still have to go to the branch to show proof of identity. Ridiculous.

This branch is shut, went all the way there as on website it said was open. When got there said it is temporary closed, I already travelled 9 miles to get there and Stockton is only open till 2pm on weekdays. I dont drive so no way I can get there.

Very helpful staff here. They are welcoming and friendly and offer very good advice. You need to make an appointment to see Heather, the financial adviser, as she is very busy. As a member you can make an appointment for a financial review with other members of staff. They can help you save money on things like household insurance etc.

Repossessed my home when interest rates were 15%+ - sold it for a profit - and kept the money.First I learn about it is 28 years later when an agency is contacting me asking for 25% +VAT of the money in exchange for their help in getting it from the Nationwide ... unbelievable.I was destitute because of them and they knew it ... yet they kept my money and made no effort to contact me.Cheers ... Nationwide Darlington Branch ... I'll always have such fond memories of you and you customer service.Will I ever get my money ... I'll keep you posted ...

Every query was directed to online or the self service machine despite the fact the branch was empty. Then the machines didn't work and had to go to the counter anyway!

The staff are very helpful and friendly, the premises is fully wheelchair accessible with an automatic door and there is an ATM inside as well as outside if the weather is bad and you need cash!
I have always found it easy to get exactly what I want inside as there's always been someone to advise. At a time when many banks are reducing the numbers of staff and replacing them with machines, this branch is great for human interaction so you know you can talk things through face to face with someone.

5 star customer service. Was thinking about leaving after a problem which I thought nationwide should of held some responsibility for. After going into my local branch in Huddersfield and having no joy and also calling the customer service line I thought enough is enough. I came to this branch as I was working in the north east. The customer service manager and the branch manager where extremely helpful and very understanding and solved the problem no questions asked. This branch is very good take note Huddersfield these lads know how to look after there customers. Thank you
