Absolute disgraceful company!Only care about taking your money.Been trying to cancel an order for 2days to be told it?s unable to be cancelled. After a few more days and a few more phone calls I managed to cancel the order but by this time they are saying the flooring has been cut so I lose 25% of the order. I even had to explain the terms and conditions to the sales rep to be able to get this refund. I will not be recommending SCS and will never be taking any business back to there door.

It does what it says on the door, but expensive unless the sofa you want is on sale. Everything else is inflated prices to keep the overall margins for the company.

Disgusting. Bought an extended 3 year warranty on a leather 3 piece suit. After 5 months, the edge of the cushion flattened. I was told not to sit on that area. They refused to fix the issue. The suite cost over £3k. I will never buy from these people again.Listen to my warning.

I've just purchased a lazyboy 3+2 from durham branch and must say the manager (forgot his name ) was brilliant , no hassle or following me around rushing me explained different prices , colours etc had good friendly conversation , I would definitely go back , thank you manager.

Just one of those places you?d really rather not go, pushy salesman straight away just puts you off.Only interested in getting the sales, no idea of how to engage with a customer and connect with them or really find out what it was I was after. I had seen an advert on the telle about jubilee offers, so I asked about them and he just said nah you don?t want them they?re awful quality, you get what you paid for..At one point he offered a carpet with glitter in?! Another example of how had the service was as he didn?t have any idea what my taste was.Then offered me discount when I was about to walk out. Nah, stick to franks where they have clear, transparent prices and salesman who want to do what?s right.

At the moment it's 3, could drop if my sofa is not received by the new late date of 22nd May. Using COVID as an excuse but should have arrived this week. We will see what happens

Absolutely horrific customer service from this company. Truly shocking. We bought a pair of their "special offer" Tamla lay-zee-boy sofas back in may. We were told our expected delivery date would be 9th july. They would contact us as soon as they arrived to arrange delivery to us .So we waited.I called them on 7th july to see how things were going and if everything was still on for the 9th .They told me that no , there was a new ETA date that was now going to be 23rd july. They would definitely have it with my by wed the following week guaranteed!OK i thought , im glad i called because you haven't contacted me at all yourselves.So we waited.I got a text from scs at 16.25 on 23rd july telling me they were sorry but there had been a delay and they were unable to supply a new delivery date.I phoned them again on 28th july for an update ( as they haven't called me once yet so i was learning they do not do well at customer communications..) All they would tell me was that i couldn't cancel and it wasn't considered "late" until 4 weeks had passed from the original delivery date. In fact the answer to all of my questions was always " you cant cancel , it says in the contract ". Even when i asked them to confirm my order was actually placed in the first place. The call centre staff do nothing but say how sorry they are and tell you "you cant cancel." This started ringing alarm bells . ( i have probably called them 7 times by now, different people , same old story, they don't know , the manager wont know, I cant cancel etc )So, nobody will help me until 9th August.So we waited.till 9th august !I called them. They tell me that yes, it is now late, new ETA is 9th august , its 3.30pm now, but he cant help me with confirming it really is there, but someone will call me within 72 hours when I asked to speak to a manager or someone who CAN help me .I emailed complaints with the story of my bad experience as i was pretty sure nobody would call me in 72 hours . I felt i needed this in writing now .I GOT A CALL BACK !!! on wed. 11th august. Friendly lady from customer services who read my email. She was also very sorry. Said she had looked thru my file and said that she had spoken to the Durham branch manager who had told her that he would absolutely definitely guaranteed phone me between 4pm and 6 pm on friday the 13th to discuss my case, what happened to my sofas, a possible refund or a possible delivery.So we waited.I decided to start my review while i waited till 6pm, sure that nobody would call me despite the " absolutely definitely guarantees" from the email complaints lady. Passing the buck to a store manager isn't really dealing with my problem. Id prefer to know where the order for my sofa is or what la-zee-boy themselves are saying about this delay.Its now 18.15 and guess who didn't call me to discuss my order?I have once again emailed customer support unfortunately i do not hold out much hope. They just want to pass the buck and keep hold of my deposit.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUETHIS LOT ARE COWBOYS

Products are well presented and staff were helpful. The trip would have been more relaxing and I'd have felt more comfortable looking at the sofas if there weren't as many staff members. Makes it feel a bit rushed if you aren't 100% sure what you're going to buy beforehand.

After almost 7 weeks I'm still waiting for a 2x2 metre piece of vinyl flooring. I have sent numerous e mails and messages to this company. I do admit they did ring me on Wednesday but it was on my mobile and by the time I got to answer they rang off. They havent tried to ring me since. I am absolutely fuming about this. I think the customer service is terrible. I know these are exceptional times but after this length of time I would have expected to have my delivery I was promised it on July 21st along with a carpet i had boughtFinally got it on 14/08/20. But I was made to pay £30 delivery charge. If it had been delivered when it was supposed to be on 21/07/20 I would not have had this to pay. I think i have been treated very badly. Will never go back to this company

Went in on Sunday and bought a ex display sofa on the 0% deal and I was told I must have it delivered at a cost of £69 and they will get a outside company to deliver it as scs delivery was closed till the Monday after with Christmas even though I had a van the salesman forgot to book delivery so told he will ring Monday and confirm delivery on Thursday which was perfect. BUT no call and call centre weren?t no help 2nd call they said delivery end of January ? called in on Tuesday not only was the sofa still in the showroom it was still up for sale but store manager confirmed delivery for Thursday. On Wednesday the original salesman rang saying they have shipped the set to the RDC for them to deliver the following week when it wasn?t possible to be delivered and the RDC wouldn?t bring it back for us to collect ourselves. The wife rang scs head office and was told there was nothing they would do as it?s up the store manager so went to dfs and bought 1 twice the price but customer service was spot on.Keep away from scs

Sale was easy enough, fitter was excellent and did a great job. Invoice stated £33.08p to pay fitter, fitter said minimum payment of just under £48, bit embarrassing for us!

Lots of choice, friendly, helpful staff, no pressure to buy, found us exactly what we wanted, right size, in budget and will deliver when our house is finished. Great service, first purchase from SCS but would buy again no problem and highly recommend them. Thanks guys!

Helpful staff would have got 5stars but did not offer me 4 years interest free credit as currently being advertised on the TV. Apart from this staff knowledgeable and helpful and not pushy.
