Many more of there Chemists around Durham. Also you can get your prescription sent to them and its always ready on time to pick up no hassel at all not like big well know Chemist with a blue logo who ive always had trouble with.”

“It turns out that I transformed a routine visit to an outlying town into a special day out by visiting a friend I hadn't seen in 20 years. To be honest I wasn't particularly enamoured that the online COVID jab service sent me out to Blackhall in the first place instead of near my home just outside Durham.However I turned this to my advantage by visiting the aforementioned friend and left the car at the scenic Blackhall Rocks location before taking a leisurely walk ( good straight path for at least a mile .. kind sunny day ! ) to arrive at this pharmacy at 15.10 for a 15.15 appointment.Staff member at the counter very pleasant and efficient and I was dealt with by quite a charming young gentleman who administered the jab without any fuss and was duly sympathetic about the immuno depressive state I was in with a chronic kidney condition which resulted in me having this injection at the tender age of 61 ! I gather the service was otherwise open to the general public that had reached the age of 75+This was a good job done and out of the way .. a necessary hoop to jump through in my opinion as I strive to get my immunity topped up ahead of a taking a holiday in New Zealand in November of this year.EĹLIS COXON.”

“Great range of designer glasses and sunglasses for all face shapes at reasonable price. I went in to pick out new frames and dealt with Sam in the store. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and adviced on best frame to suit my face. Glasses arrived ahead of schedule and I have recently went back in for frame adjustment to Sam. Again, very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!”

“Seems to be well stocked. Disappointed they haven't got staff now to help elderly, disabled or just weaker customers with heavier purchases. We had to rely on a helpful security guard to help us put bags in our cart.Excuse is they can't afford to hire more staff. I personally don't believe it. It's all about keeping profits high.”

“UPDATE: 28 October 2022:I just visited for my own Covid-19 booster. Great service like the other times. Going to get my flu jab here next week, it's so easy to arrange everything and it's so professional, well run and stress free.21 September 2022:I took and accompanied my parents and my sister for their Covid-19 boosters at Winterbottom Pharmacy (during two different visits). All three were booked via the NHS website and there were no issues at all, unlike my booking for West View Pharmacy - which was a nightmare!The staff are friendly and professional and the three injections were all given efficiently and quickly.There's free disabled parking on the opposite side of the road to the pharmacy.A great service and very convenient. I would have used this pharmacy myself and I'm disappointed that I couldn't, but the dates clashed with other commitments and I had to book with West View Pharmacy instead - which has now been cancelled (without telling me). After a right carry on with West View Pharmacy, I re-booked with Winterbottom Pharmacy for 28 October 2022.”
