Needed advice on trainers for plantar faciatis, staff were knowledgeable, recommended different trainers and explained why they might help.

Just recently had hip surgery, needed a decent pair of trainers , never brought New Balance trainers before , had a look online, but I really needed to go try some on due to walking differently now , staff were really helpful and quickly came over to ask if we needed some help , which I really was really helpful, Rachael suggested some pairs based on my requirements , I decided on a pair , but the seating areas to try them on was to low for me , so I said it's ok , if they don't fit il bring them back , she quickly said no no , I will get you a chair from the back , and she got her other colleague to go grab a few sizes as I never had the brand before, she helped me try some on , and make sure I had the right size , on leaving the shop after paying she even wrote the stores email address on the receipt so if I had any issues I could get in touch as there phone was broken at the moment. Well Rachael, you really did go above and beyond to help me , and you was so helpful and friendly, you really did deliver brilliant customer service, you made reasonable adjustments for me due to my disabilities, which I don't think I have ever had in any shop before . I would definitely recommend this shoe shop , and the quality of the shoes are really good and so comfortable, but I think if wasn't for Rachael helping , I might of picked the wrong size and style. Thank you Rachael for all your help I will definitely be back when I need some more shoes , you deserve lots of credit for your service and a raise ! If only we had more of you in other shops the whole shopping experience would be a whole lot better thanks to people like your self .

Brilliant store, particularly staff member Rachael. I had expained that we were going on a city break and so I wanted shoes to withstand the cobbled streets there and I also suffered with plantar fasciitis. Rachael discussed the various trainer options with me and the cushioning they provided whilst also trying to find something in my colour choice. She spent a lot of time ensuring I had the right fit but we were struggling to find anything. She then considering something I wouldn't have thought of, looking at men's trainers and I found the perfect fit. I took them with me and didn't suffer at all even with walking 10-12 hours each day. Rachael is a huge asset to the store at Dalton Park - thank you for all your help!

My husband was so impressed with the knowledge of the staff member and the comfort of the trainers we returned a couple if weeks after our first visit, asked for the Dane salesman and bought another pair.

There are a good selection of clothes and footwear for all sizes and price points.The displays can be a bit busy and overwhelming as to what footwear is best for an individual.The staff can be busy talking at times, so it can feel as though you are interrupting if you need help.

Great store, brilliant service.I only went (to hopefully find )a pair of trainers (as I have INCREDIBLY WIDE feet????)The man helped me find some awesome trainers.That were in the sale!Plus I bought two jackets too.Highly unexpected, and a really good experience!I will definitely be going back in the future?

Some of the best customer service I have ever had. The guy was ultra helpful. Due to cancer treatment, the soles of my feet are very thing so I can feel the bones of my feet in the ground. The guy talked me and my wife through various types of shoes and soles and recommended what he thought what would be best. He offered to go and get me a selection and bring them to me to save me from getting up repeatedly. Also brought me a shoe horn to help me get them on. I also have crumbling hip bones from the cancer treatment, so I can barely stand up and walk, so all of this was very helpful.He also helped us get the best deals for what we were buying on the day.We will definitely return and recommended NB Dalton park to people we know in the future.
