trying to get a trolley is a nightmare, sometimes waiting for 15 minutes, even going round the car park to the other trolley points to find they are empty, don't know who is getting paid to sort this but it needs sorting. i am disabled and i am gonna go shopping elsewhere if this doesn't improve

Worst customer service I've ever had, anywhere. My husband and I took my daughter (16, autistic with additional learning difficulties) to the café as a treat and we tried to purchase 2 meals for her (1 child packed lunch, 1 adult macaroni and cheese) as well as 2 adult meals + drinks for myself and my husband. The woman behind the counter insisted that they don't serve macaroni and cheese. When we pointed it out on the menu, she kept repeating "that's not a child's meal"... but then she also refused to sell my daughter a child's packed lunch??She then refused to sell my husband a macaroni and cheese, again saying over and over that it's not a child's meal--but since it was being purchased for an adult, what does that have to do with anything??Really bizarre, incredibly awkward experience of an awful, bitter old woman on a power trip. That café is obviously her little kingdom--and judging by other reviews, she gets off on treating LOTS of customers like trash, not just parents of disabled kids.Avoid. This experience is too common for it to have been a bad day or a misunderstanding. There are plenty of local supermarkets with staff who DON'T go out of their way to try to embarrass customers and make disabled teenagers cry.
