Had a great experience with some really great advice on walking shoes. Could tell the person working had great knowledge and gave me a quick recommendation within my price range. Wish I had got his name as he was great.

We at World Atlas of Nina and Lettie recently visited Go Outdoors and was thoroughly impressed with their vast selection of clothing and camping gear. They truly have everything you could ever need for outdoor adventures, and the prices were fantastic. Whether you're looking for durable hiking boots, cozy camping gear, or stylish outdoor clothing, Go Outdoors has it all. I was particularly pleased with the variety and affordability of their products. It's a one-stop shop for outdoor enthusiasts, and we highly recommend it!

Still don't agree you have to pay for a card to shop here. But it's perfect for dropping off your Evri returns

Great store, loads of good quality items. Unfortunately took 3 attempts on 3 different tills to complete purchase for one item to be sent to my address. Staff very good in trying to deal with it but very frustrating.

Sadly no wheelchair to borrow (as are always available in M&S, ikea, Asda, Tesco, B&Q, Sainsbury etc)When asked where the lift was we were told and pointed to ?over there? when we got to ?over there? at the other end of the shop it was out of order.Sadly we didn?t get to look at / possibly buy a tent.

Preferred the old look store. Bit limited on Rab clothing, I liked the long sleeve baselayer, but had to settle with a Berghaus long sleeve baselayer, which is the next best thing. I felt a bit closed in and stuff seems to be crammed in. Apart from that, it's still a good store.

First visit since the refurb.Still the same wide range of gear, all even easier to find. The addition of the bike section is brilliant, very spacious and a good range of the latest gear.

Great amount of selection but the fact you have to have a paid membership to avoid paying DOUBLE on some items is a joke. I'll come in here for a look around and find them on Amazon, so it's useful for that I suppose!

Well the only word to describe GO Outdoors is amazing. The place is huge and the range of everything outdoors from sleeping bags, tents, clothes to lighters, stoves and beyond is great. This store actually has tents set up so you can sort of try before you buy.The only slight downside was I couldn't find a cycle helmet for my 6 year old son.Still given that one little blit, the staff are friendly, there is even a cafe and toilet. Plus don't get put off by the members only thing, you can pay £5 when you buy your goods to join and it's well worth it. I saved over £100 by joining.

Appalling customer service. Was told via the main customer service to return some walking boots that were faulty (supposed to be Goretex and waterproof but letting water in) On return (they had only been worn three times) we were told by a rather miserable, unfriendly and rude woman that they were caked in mud (they weren't, they had a tiny bit of dead grass on the sole of one and were obviously worn but not caked in mud), was told that we shouldn't expect them to touch the boots (bizarre) and we were asked to take them out of the bag to show them.We were then told rudely to go away and clean them, dry them and bring them back.We walked out absolutely baffled with the way we had been spoken to and the poor customer care received. All we wanted was to swap them for another pair which hopefully lived up to being waterproof. We were told by the main customer service that this could happen. We won't be shopping in that store again and whoever it was that 'dealt' with us needs to think carefully about why she is doing a job which requires customer care.
