“Thank you so much to the ladies who helped me so much late evening the other night.I'd just come just come out of hospital and had been there since the early hours in the morning.I wasn't well at all and pumped full of pain relief and extremely confused and disoriented.I'm already disabled and was finding it extremely difficult to find my feet.I hadn't eaten at all for 36 hours and was in desperate need to get my blood sugar up.The staff were absolutely brilliant with me and made sure I got everything I needed, sat me down and also put me into a taxi.Thank you so much ladies.Unfortunately I don't know your names however, I'm sure you'll recognise the story once you've read this.Karen x”

“The post office at Eaglescliffe is polite, willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the customer is satisfied and the opening hours are excellent, I do not think there is another post office that is open 8am to 9pm seven days a week. Before we had this post office, we had one in Yarm that opened 9am to 5 pm four days a week and was closed on a Wednesday. Some people should remember that before moaning that they closed early one day. I bet there are many people that would be over the moon to have their post office open for a part of that time. I can only say about the service I got every time I went in and that was excellent.”
