I do understand that all conected to the health service have been under a great deal of pressure, but I fine this pharmacy to be inefficient and even worse quite abrupt.

Been today to collect a prescription for my mother to be met with a que of 30 people and the same number seated and waiting. Some were quite irate after already waiting 90 mins. After waiting myself for 30 mins to be seen by the very stressed attendant I am told mine wasn't ready, despite they having the prescription sent electronically from the GP some days ago. Am told we need to allow a minimum of 4 days for prescriptions to be made up? (That can't be right in this day and age, surely?). I explained mum only had enough tablets left to last till Sunday but was told i would have to wait till Monday or Tuesday at least. After explaining this won't be any good I asked for a copy of the prescription (which took some time to find) and simply went to boots round the corner (ready in just a few mins) . Chaos and with very confrontational staff dealing with upset patients is not acceptable in 2018. I would like to say this is a one off. But sadly it's been a problem each time I have been for one reason or another

It's a good practice but you can be waiting a while to get your meds so it's better to make an appointment when you have no plans

Why offer a prescription filling service if it can never deliver on time. I think the timescale chart for when medications will be ready to Collect needs taking down . They are never ready when they are supposed to be
