Price tags and online proudly state "You won't get it cheaper. Full stop". Went in to ask them to price match an online retailer (which the T&Cs say they will do) and the manager immediately went to the online retailer's terms and conditions and started looking for anything that could nullify their price "promise" which dictates that the terms need to be identical. This is of course impossible, as no two retailers have identical terms. Was told that the online retailer's terms and conditions said I would have to pay for a return if I decided I didn't want the item and that wasn't the same as their terms because I could just bring it back. What trash. Very few online retailers offer free returns on a 'change of mind' for appliances! Eventually fobbed me off on another employee who tried to tell me that they tracked returns using serial numbers. On enquiring further, it became an obvious lie. It's false advertising and poor customer service like this that drives people to the online retailers. Bought online. Shame that trying to buy in the local area, support local jobs and minimise delivery emissions was such a negative experience.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Asked for help twice then proceeded to say that they will send someone over. Waited over half an hour for someone to arrive, might as well create a lounge for customers whilst the staff decide that they want to help. I already knew what I wanted when I walked in the shop so I was ready to go in, pay and leave. There was only two other customers in the shop meaning there should not be a delay on service.

Have to be honest and say I was surprised at how friendly and helpful the staff were on my recent visit. A couple of different staff went out of their way to help me. Extra impressive considering it?s the busy Christmas period.

Went in to buy a phone, put on a waiting list at the door, as they've clearly reduced staffing levels. Waited 30 minutes, to then be told "we don't have them in stock, but can order one".Left shop, and went to Argos. Got same phone, same price, same day.

Quite a reasonable selection of products. Very disappointed at the payment desk, waited for nearly quarter of an hour for a member of staff to appear, was about to give up and take my business elsewhere when a staff member appeared. Hence only 3*

This store doesn?t have a customer service, very bad experience. Came to purchase item which I already choose before entering the store, waited in queue 20 min to only be told at the till that they can?t help me and that it?s a special time if the year and I need to go on a waiting list?.. what list??? Ok? went on a waiting list? waited another 25 minutes, no one called? left the store and went to another shop and purchased what I needed without any waiting lists and excuses of ?special time of the year?Do not recommend waisting your time at this currys store

Went at around 6 30pm to buy something from the store. No staff at tills to pay for it. Another couple had been waiting 20minutes for a member of staff to find their collection. While they were doing this, no other member of staff came to man the tills. No other staff visible to ask for assistance.Something that should have taken 5 minutes took 30 minutes.Always terrible service here. Last time I went here for a collection, after waiting 10 minutes for someone to come to the tills, waited another 30 minutes to find out they had lost it.

Currys is an excellent shop. I called in as I was thinking of upgrading my phone. The young member of staff I spoke to was brilliant. My old Samsung was quite old and had a big crack down the middle of the screen. The deal I was offered on a new far more sophisticated phone with a much faster more powerful processor and a far superior camera, with 50% more data than my current phone contract for 30% a month less than I am paying now was a no brainer. I have always had excellent service here and the staff are awesome.

Ordered fridge freezer, weren't informed that we were being charged extra for the date we were given for delivery. Delivery and installation?? Forget it!! They left 2 people in their 70s to manoeuvre the fridge freezer, old one cos it was on vinyl and guys wouldnt risk injury ( it was 2 inches under the fridge freezer if that, and we managed between us to wiggle it clear!), new one cos plug needed inserting into socket through cupboard. They left, having cut off old plug and directing us to remove plinth. So my 77 Yr old husband with 2 replacement knees had to crawl on floor doing all this. One hour after they left it was finally sorted. They wouldn't even wait while I swept up the 18 years of dust that had accumulated. Won't use Curry's again.

Unfortunately, the service we have received was terrible, after entering the premises we've been asked about the department we are looking to get help with.Informed the customer service we would like to purchase a dryer which we already reviewed and picked. We've been told there is waiting list to be served and we are second on that list. 25 min later still left standing next to the entrance with no one to provide any help whatsoever.It supposed to be a simply transaction, pay for the good and leave with the goods but apparently that can't be done at Currys anymore

I'm giving 5 stars for Becky who was brilliant when helping. Made sure we got the best deal for us and was really pleasant.HOWEVER - whoever is running the store clearly needs help as the place is disorganised and understaffed. The queue system doesn't work. Staff are clearly demoralised. All stuff that is down to leadership.

On entering the store we was abruptly asked what department we wanted and pointed in the general locationWe found the vacuum we wanted and met with the parents who were looking for a new TV; we went to go and find someone for assistance and got told there's a booking system that we knew nothing about and we will be 2nd in the queueWe wanted 45 minutes for someone to come and assist us, with no one turning up! We'd already, in this time, did our own test on the TV and research, finally settled on a TVCheck out - went to go find someone, the person at the front had changed over and once again got told about the booking system, in which we replied with our experience.I assume the manager of the store served us very abrupt and sent someone from sales over who happily put our items through and went to collect them from the backWe was in the store for 1 hour! Very little assistance and arrogant staffNever experienced anything like this before what happened to just walking in looking for what you want and finding a member of staff to help you? Ridiculous carry on
