I have been going to this pharmacy since 2005 and have never had any problems but since it changed ownership, my problems start. They lose the prescriptions and then they don't believe us. I'm going to go a week without my medication because they lose the prescription again, I have to take the medication every day to survive. What i do????

Was directed by NHS Direct service 111 to go to this pharmacy in order to collect some EMERGENCY medication. This was due to it running out over the bank holiday weekend and the doctors being closed. Having not received it for a few days, (and it being a daily medication)111 service was keen to expedite the process and directed me to this pharmacy ASAP.On attendance the pharmacy refused to serve me, despite acknowledging that 111 service had sent me here. They said they will not provide this service, and I should speak to my Doctors. When explaining, the doctors was a long wait due to bank holiday, and this is why 111 direct had helped me with the EMERGENCY medication, they still refused.The server seemed to particularly take joy in communicating refusal of service, for what seemed like no logical reason other than "computer says no". She didn't apologies, she didn't show any empathaty in regards to the uniqueness of the situation, simply stated the NHS Direct was mistaken, and was rude in her general manner.TRULY AWFUL for what should be a health and people orientated service. Shame on you
