I tried to draw some money out of a buisness account but the cashier would not let let me have it unless I told her where it came from, and then she proceeded to be condescending towards myself when I asked her to send the reasons why across on an e-mail which she refused to also.

VIRGIN MONEY IN GENERAL. Not this actual branch.The useability of their mortgages after opening the account is horrific. They were helpful when opening the account but afterwards the customer service is absolutely awful. Cannot wait to leave this bank for a much more user friendly bank.

Awful experience! Tried to set up a business bank account and had an awful experience. Account approved but not accessible to me. Endless waiting on hold for staff to pass me from department to department with nobody taking any responsibility for this mess nor even apologising for the immense inconvenience caused to me. It is hard enough starting up a new business without the nightmare of working with Virgin Money - who still haven't solved my problem, rendering my account useless. If I could give no stars, that's what I would do. Banking should not be like this.

Made a complaint, 2 months later get a letter to say we cannot support your claim. Rang to ask why, turns out they have investigated something completely different. The case has been closed and a new compliant would need to be made for it to be looked into. Absolute shambles.

A small premises type of building not the usual grand auditorium type building and even so Virgin have altered the layout. At one point the was an area for customers to sit down and help themselves to a cup of tea or coffee and as many as you wanted. That has all been replaced by a cashpoint area, I would think that Virgin could claim that Covid was the reason but the free tea/coffee ploy I think was to lure new customers inside, so job done. But Covid has altered the ambiance of the place as it has to adapt to the times but a counter service, small, is available, and personal consultations are available with the appropriate Covid precautions in place. As for the products, much the same as other banks are they competitive, like the virus regulations, fluid.
