The ship inn is a traditional village pub. There is a good range of beers, lagers, and cider, cask conditioned hand-pulled real ale, a nice beer I hadn't had before, which was in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a nice cosy bar with a pool table, dart board, and TV. Outside, there is a beer garden with plenty of seating and a car park.Parking: The pub has its own large car park.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat and the pub is all on one level.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PUB.Unless you know the owner you get looked at every time if you?re having a laugh and being a little loud. If you don?t look old enough to be in there you get looked at funny. A drink was spilled and cleaned by the person who spilled it and we got a filthy look yet WE cleaned it up. Then due to not knowing a person was behind with drinks due to moving arms a glass ACCIDENTALLY got KNOCKED out of one person in our groups hands resulting in the bottom of the glass being smashed in which we APOLOGISED AND CLEANED UP. Yet STILL got refused from being served ANY drinks not even a bottle of water or glass of coke. Absolute shocking establishment all because we was young having a laugh and a few of us had a few drinks we got looked at and treated differently. Just to add NONE of us was drunk and it was ACCIDENTAL due to also being a VERY small pub with not much room cramped in a corner. If you was a regular and knew the owners would of been a different story absolute JOKE of an establishment and the owners.

Great pub with fantastic, friendly staff. Not sure why the latest comments are so low?? Certainly worth a visit for anyone!

Used to be a lovely pub but recently has been less accessible to those who don?t fit the standards. I?ve heard they?ve recently banned somebody with dementia, the lack of empathy is concerning for such an establishment.

Brilliant managers and bar staff. Great local pub with a warm welcome for all. Darts teams on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday nights. Pub quiz and bingo on Sunday. Good appetising and 'home made' food on Thursday/Friday and Saturday, plus Sunday lunches, all at reasonable prices. Good idea to phone beforehand for meals (it gets busy!!).
