Roasted tomato soup was delicious, but the half sandwich accompanying it was a disgrace: one thin slice of bread with a thin, old piece of ham, a slice of processed cheese and half a slice of tomato. Expected more for £10. The pot of Yorkshire tea was great (but the cups could be bigger).

Me and my family went to visit the cafe for lunch with no pre conception. Very impressive, attentive staff, well presented and tasteful food! We will definitely be visiting again

Pumpkin picking, cakes and coffee: brilliant morning spent at The Balloon Tree. We got there straight after 9:00 when hardly anybody was out yet. Got ourselves a wheelbarrow and onto the field for picking some pumpkins. It's october and an open field, so wellies are recommended. Our daughter had lots of fun walking up and...

From The Balloon Tree Farmshop & Cafe
The Balloon Tree Farm Shop & Café is a family run business which specialises in retailing high quality and local produce.
The Farm Shop has a well stocked fresh fruit and vegetable department which changes with the seasons. Locally reared meats are available from quality assured butchers. The deli and in house bakery are producing items daily from a light lunch to an indulgent treat.
The Café is a light and airy space where you can grab a great cup of coffee and sample what the Chefs have on offer from the daily specials board.
Through the summer months we open up our fruit farm for pick your own strawberries and other soft fruit, before finishing the season in October with PYO pumpkins.
