Excellent service, thank you.Last May I had a routine unexpected telephone call for an asthma check up.I was actually feeling very poorly, my asthma wasn't great. Sarah the asthma nurse picked up on this and straight away made me an appointment at the practice, I was then sent to A&E. They kept me in for the day. I came home armed with medication. The follow up from my GP was excellent. Thank you Sarah for your prompt and swift action.

Shout Out for Sidley Doctor's SurgeryAt a time when we hear so much negativity about the national health service and the difficulties of getting an appointment of any kind, I just wanted to share my experience today. I suspected I might have developed shingles and decided to try phoning the surgery this afternoon about 3ish although I didn't expect to be able to speak to anyone this late in the day as most of the appointments go first thing in the morning. The receptionist was lovely, very helpful and sent me an online link so that I could send her photographs of the rash for the doctor to have a look at. The doctor phoned me about five p m we had a chat, he confirmed shingles and I have now already got medication as he sent the prescription directly and immediately to the chemist. A mixture of this kind of telephone consultation, backed by photos works well. I wish the NHS could also bring in video consultation and keep face to face for those who can't cope with IT for some reason or for further investigation that requires the person to be present. Nothing replaces face to face of course, but Sidley Surgery provided me with a great service this afternoon as they have done on other occasions and I would like to say thank you.

Very hit and miss place. Some of the reception staff are so rude when you call up. Lots of sighing and speaking rudely down the phone. Not sure what their problems are, when it's their job to answer the phone and help with enquiries.Some of the staff here are happy, helpful and friendly.

Always had great service from my Gp surgery. Love the engage consult so you don?t have to waste appointments and super quick reordering of medication.Can?t fault this surgery ??

I called in January to book a telephone appointment, the receptionist was helpful but when it came to my phone appointment I was left feeling very distressed. I spoke to Dr Maloney. The call was regarding my deteriorating mental health after being taken of my medication with no warning when I called to renew my prescription with only 2 pills left in the pack last June. I was on anti depressants, a medication in which you can?t just be taken off instantly, it?s a slow process and you should be eased off them, but this doctor didn?t care, they were snatched from me leading to a massive deterioration of my mental health! When I had my phone call appointment with Dr Maloney a month after booking it, she was very patronising and not at all sensitive to my situation. I was spoken to as if my problems didn?t matter and was left feeling worse than prior to the call. It was evident she had no idea what to say, which was so unprofessional. She referred to my situation as a ?small challenge? and then began to stutter and not speak properly after realising what she had just said. She made me feel like my mental health wasn?t valid. Baring in mind myself and my mum have begged multiple times for them to do something to help, specifically this doctor. It was as if she just wanted to get me off the phone. Absolutely disgusting, the people who are supposed to help, do not help, and 9 times out of 10 leave you feeling even worse.
