I love this shop but why did they make it smaller?

BOYCOTT PRICE GOUGERS. Over the last couple of years I've watched in horror as this store has doubled and tripled its prices but, hey, inflation, right? But I realised today that it's nothing of the sort.Today, their frozen pizzas are more expensive than the Pappa Johns next door. Can of chickpeas? £2. Same tin at Sainsburys two minutes up the road? 50p. The cheapest loaf of bread they had today was over £2, for a tiny microloaf. Same loaf at Sainsburys? 85p. One loaf was £4!! Same bread was available at Sainsburys for £1.15. And Sainsburys are hardly cheap either. It's insulting. How dare they rip off their customers like this, in a cost of living crisis? It's using inflation as cover to jack up prices to line their pockets and it's gone too far. And from a supposedly ethical company.I used to shop here three times a day because it was convenient but I'm scared to even work out how much extra money I've handed over to greedy Co-op bosses (CEO paypacket is £1m a year) but no more. I'll never shop here again and will encourage everyone I know to boycott them.

Red haired lady behind the counter is probably one of the most rude people I have a had the unpleasant experience of interacting with. I understand that you might not like you job but that?s no excuse to be rude and maybe fine other employment instead of alienating customers.

Nice shop, nice staff, but the prices are mad. £1.70 for a single tin of Heinz beans.

Every single time I get delivery from this store they forget things and I still get charged for them. I tried a diffrent coop but they forgot even more stuff. So I'm stuck with this bunch who only seem to forget 1 item every time. Maybe I'm being unreasonable, maybe it's hard to read a list of 7 items and put it in a bag.

Went two ago in the night for my shopping.. asked one of the employer that any big bottle of water is left and she said can't you see innthe shelf. This is how they treat there customers however the security guy was there as well and witness of this. I went to the manager to complain about it he just said, I will investigate it. However, I know he will not do anything.. Useless staff and manager. If I will say racist thats a more better word for them..

Just used deliveroo for a collection of a selection of food stuff. Delivery was prompt but co op, lewes Road, failed to add 6 items out of 16! and still charged. Massive fail co op.

Nice, small and local, great for our quick daily shop. They've recently relocated to right nextdoor to the previous location, aisles seems to be a bit narrower now...Staff are nice and helpful, and there's a bunch of self service stations if you prefer the DIY way.Inventory is a bit hit and miss... Especially on the fresh fruit & veg, and fresh meat section. Beer selection is always great though! ?Tip: if you shop with Co-Op a lot, it's totally worth it getting their (free) membership card, and earn pretty nifty credit as you shop. Good times!!
