“Came across just in the nick of time on the Motorway to Brighton, when flatlining in fuel, perfect ! & Price not bad either, happy friendly, knowledgeable , informative staff, open when I was there around midnight on a Thursday / Friday, unusual to be able to walk into & around a petrol station store after usual opening hours which are usually about 10pm & this is an M&S (Marks & Spencer) by the way :-)”

“And so, with the dawn rising over the city and the stars fading into the distance, one cannot help but feel renewed and rejuvenated by the magic of the petrol station.”

“During this weekends Fuel crisis, long queues of standing traffic....wonderful help from the Esso service station staff here ushering people to relevant and working available pumps. After a two hour hunt for fuel in Brighton on Sunday was most welcome assistance. Well done!”

“Between the Preston Circus end of London Road and Patcham, there's a couple of small shops, meaning that in that whole distance the only real food shop is the Sainsbury Local who pull that immoral con of knowing they're the only option, they add 20% onto prices - case in point, a litre of milk was £1.65 yesterday, and at the New England road Sainsbury's it cost £1.25, but i digress....Sometimes, Sainsbury's isn't open and waiting until the morning just isn't an option, there's a quiet local option that's not always front and centre of your mental list. Sure, the prices are a bit high, and between 11pm and 7am all transactions happen via the cashiers window, the 24hr Shell garage has been doing it's thing for years. I t's also got a fancy Costa coffee machine, a fee free cash point and there's a big bright yellow row of Amazon delivery lockers called Samir.”

“If getting a M\\u0026S own drink i.e. smoothie or fruit juices, be aware that they charge the same price for the 250ml bottles as the large 750ml !!! Save your money!!!”

“Pleasant staff... 1yr ago! However, recently, I was served, a few times by the same person, and found them stuffy, and abrupt... Far from polite! I had one call regarding my complaint, then no follow up. I believe the guys name was Ranyan(operator 1,on the receipt!), who virtually grunted, and barked at me, causing me consternation. I felt like I had interrupted his dinner, or something?!! Very poor customer skills! I don't care now, as I don't go back there.”

“Accessible clean and some of the commission best quality food being sold on the Lewis road but I have to take a point away as I find this marks & Spencer convenient shop expensive to shop in even when my wallet it is full. This is not surprising for this store but the staff are friendly”

“Love this ASDA always clean and the staff are generally happy and very helpful. Unfortunately, due to cost savings there is more and more push to self service checkouts and sometimes only one manned till open for the entire shop. Almost pushing you to use self service tills. Not great for disabled shoppers.”
