“Absolutely superb service from Nathan and Otis at Brighton Millets today. My camping light is about 20 years old and suddenly stopped working. It's a really good, sturdy light and I was loathe to just throw it out. I took it to a DIY shop and two other camping shops and in every shop, the assistants just looked at it and said "dunno". At Millets, Nathan and Otis took my request seriously. They took the light apart, checked the bulb and batteries and cleaned up the connections. Nathan said "I hate giving up!" so he didn't. He found the loose connection and got the light working again. The connection is still a bit hit-and-miss so I bought a new light anyway (Hi-Gear, looks robust and reliable) and am keeping the old one as a spare. I am extremely impressed by Nathan and Otis's determination to get my light working. We live in a throwaway culture and should try to fix things before binning them!
