Poorly run shop, the manager was primarily responsible for the closure of the shop in Hailsham. Bad utilisation of shop floor space, and not opening on Sunday is unforgivable when to taking into account the footfall on Grove Road.

I actually have a donor card for this shop and i have given them lots of stuff in the past but i will never give them anything again. I do a lot of work for Age Concern and i am a regular visitor to all of the charity shops in the town but the atmosphere in this shop is the worst i have encountered so far. They are the most miserable unfriendly bunch ruled by greedy tyrant of a manager. They have no business sense at all, they are still trying to get £3.99 for second hand dvd's some of them i actually donated in the hope that they would sell them to raise money but the idea of raising funds seems to have got lost in the desire for sales targets and greed. I have given up trying to explain that their DVD prices are more expensive than they cost new and that there are lots of dvd specialist shops in the town now selling dvd's at £1 each but the manager won't budge. They had a lamp that was going to the tip because it was electrical and they couldn't sell it. I offered them £10 for the lamp and i even offered to remove all the wiring before leaving the shop but again it was dismissed out of hand. It just makes me feel suspicious of their motives and that is why i will never go there again.
