I've given you 5 stars mainly for the customer service from Sally, this lady helped us on Sunday 19th March 2023 I would say after going to Brighton London Road bhf shop where we will never shop again due to the main facts that your customer service is rubbish and not being able to buy anything due to not delivering to Newhaven and then going to Eastbourne bhf what a complete difference this place cares about their customers please if you could I would be grateful if you could let Sally know she was wonderful with us and better than brighton. We believe there sales must be low as they cannot be bothered with customer service unless you can take the items with you, I myself have needed heart operation and I wasn't looking for a deal just a delivery. Eastbourne bhf is next to none the best customer service and care I have seen in a very long time so just one last item to say, a great full thankyou Sally for caring about your customer and the shops image I personally would recommend you for any customer service job anywhere. Thankyou Sally have a wonderful day.

The two stars are for our lovely sofa we got from here. The missing three stars are for the long scuff on the arm which wasn't there when we bought it (I took photos), and for the fact that the man brought the sofa up to our flat dismantled and left my husband to basically build it back together, I couldn't help him as I'm disabled.Outrageous that we were left four parts of a sofa while the workshy duo left us to it. One of the guys looked guilty and asked if we are OK, the other guy just said "it's easy"... really ? I thought, you do it then. Lazy delivery men, want to get away with doing as little as possible. Not happy

Great charity store, staff were nice and helpful and the store had a lot of amazing quality furniture.Purchases a real wood table and set of 4 chairs here, £160 in total, this would of cost me £400+ for a new one.

Horrible appalling rude over the phone even one of the managers under the name of David kept talking over me using an aggressive approach and condescending tone with me when making a complaint over how rude their movers were refusing to move my washing machine one more meter, instead of an apology he defends them shouting at me refusing to let me have his above manager's.name which I'm entitled to in addition hanging up on me ignoring the phone thereafter. He should be sackedI will post further negative reviews if I don't get an apology for his unacceptable obnoxious conduct specially with a paying customer and will take my customs elsewhere where they treat me with the respect and dignity every person deserves.

Telephone manner is appalling. When I rang the lady who answered was very abrupt & kept talking over me.

We've been here many times over the year that we've been in this town, there are quite a few charity shops in Eastbourne but this BHF has to be the best. It's cram packed with all the sorts of clothing, shoes, handbags and shirts etc that you would expect but a great majority of the items are brand new still with their original shop labels on. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop is nice and clean and well laid out. They clearly don't just put any old worn items out. There is also a selection of jewellery & books. A very nice shop.

A very nice store, plenty to see, with helpful and polite staff. Items usually sensibly priced but gradually drifting away from "bargain" or "tempting" to "average" or even "expensive" considering there will be wear or damage on any secondhand item. Despite the shop looking very welcoming from the outside [and I frequently pop in with a view to making further purchases] I get fed up with the radios blaring away inside and make it a flying visit rather than a serious browse, where I'd probably stop to look at everything. Perhaps they do that to stop people hanging around clogging up the store for too long?
