Disappointed with our recliner sofa which is not as comfortable after nearly three years. The recliner chair has stopped working and despite purchasing extra cover, neither DFS or Guardsman will even look at it and we are expected to pay to have it repaired regardless of the fault. Appalling after service. I was promised a call from one of the managers and I got a one sentence email instead, advising me to use a 'pay for' service. We have spent several thousand pounds with DFS over the last three years and we would never shop there again.

I have just got off the phone with my mother who is a 65 year old disabled lady. She has been in and out of this store for the last 2 months ordering a sofa which turned up broken. She has since wanted to cancel the order as it has been handled so badly. She called the customer support who said she could only cancel the order in store. She then went to the store and spoke to a manager called Jason. Jason told her that he would cancel the order and she would get a refund within 5-10 working days. She waited the 10 days and went back in to ask what was going on. Jason then proceeded to say she got it all wrong and that head office had been trying to contact her for collection of the broken sofa. My mum then called the customer support who said they had nothing come from Jason about the issue and that he had not put anything on their system about my mum wanting to cancel. Jason proceeded to leave my mum in the shop as he had a managers meeting. As it stands my mum is set to lose 20% of the money she paid and left without a sofa. This Jason should be ashamed of himself for lying, especially to an elderly women who?s only family is not local due to being in the military. Please avoid this shop and especially Jason. Better off in SCS.

Shocking! Do not buy from here! Was promised a delivery date, 4 days later it arrived. Manager couldn't care less! Was promised a refund for no delivery but manager refused to honor this and offered a hamper ? Spoke to head office who refunded the money. I I won't be buying from here again!

I bought a sofa and recliner and a couple of tables from Eastbourne. The girl.that I dealt with was great. The stuff turned up in September 2022. I was very happy . Then one evening the sun shine on the new coffee table only to find a scratch. I'd had it a couple of daysWhen I had time I popped in to tell them.. . I took a photo sent it in . Heard nothing for nearly 2 months . I went in to store Dec 2022. Same girl that sold it served me . Very lovely again. I said I've nothing . She checked , oh yes we need more pics can't see scratch . I zoomed in on the pic I'd sent . There it was bright as day . She went back in to see her manager . Manager says we need more pics. . I really couldn't be bothered to go through all the rigmarole so I just walked out . The manager or who ever was in charge was shocking . . After sales is appalling.

Apart from the long wait despite us informing a member of staff that we were wanting to purchase! It wasn't until we again approached the sales officeb that we were then attended to! Jason turned the situation around and we left with the purchase we wanted.And happy.
