It's a lovely little shop and such a good cause

I bought a few things from this shop yesterday and the volunteer was extremely rude to me. I said hello to her and asked her how she was and she completely ignored me. The only words she said to me were how much the items cost. I said thank you and goodbye and still nothing. She was looking down on me. I am extremely disappointed and have never been made to feel like this by anyone in a shop before.

E b, I am the Assistant Manager at the shop. I am terribly sorry you had this experience. Could you tell me what day of the week and time (morning or afternoon), you came in? It would be really helpful. Thank you.

Will never contact this so called Charity again, my dog was near death, I called and asked for emergency help, to be told that where I lived is out of their catchment area! But it's OK to have a shop in the town I live in, so it's a case of take our money but don't help our pets!

I called in yesterday and the assistant manager was at the till. The friendliest, most considerate and helpful lady I think I've ever met! Her attitude really gave me a boost, and if anyone reading this can thank her from me, please do. ? ?

I quite like this charity shop - they stock a lot of end of rail staff from large chain stores that have not been used, and prices are reasonable. A good selection of bric-a-brac to rummage through and friendly staff.

There are quite a few charity shops in Eastbourne. This one is particularly good. Staff are lovely and really enjoy the work they do. I love browsing in this shop as they have a particularly good stock of books.
