I have 20 years of experience and I have worked in an EMI home for 6 years where I achieved the Health and Social care NVQ 3. During this time, I have worked with various individuals who suffered a wide range of mental health issues ranging from schizophrenia to korsokoff disease and dementia. I decided nursing and care was my passion and in 2006 I enrolled at Brighton University to study nursing. I graduated in November 2010 as a registered nurse in adult nursing. I went on to work in the local hospital for a few years in various settings before deciding to work independently in the community, self-employed. I have worked in the community for the last 8 years with various responsibilities in caring for vulnerable adults.
