We went in April 2023 my children's first holiday in England, the location was very nice the mobile home was lovely and clean despite one little stain on the sofa which was rectified easily, the saxon centre was lovely and quiet until the softplay in there was deemed unsafe to play on so children were running around the lounge the arcades and mini Market staff were lovely and in the live lounge the staff were friendly but the mash and barrel staff and food let it down for us the food took over 45 minutes to come and when it arrived it was warm not hot and the stuff were rude except for Jade, the manager on duty on mash and barrel laughed in my face when I queried extra charge on my receipt, I read him the right act though and he refunded me the money, the staff on the bug hunt and nature trail were okay. Nick was nice and Accommodating but Lou was miserable and quite rude as I had to take my youngest through the air space and down the lift which took about 3 minutes she was moaning about us to others on the activity and my partner aswell who went down the stairs, we made it clear that we won't have that attitude from me. Apart from that we had a nice a holiday, and oh yeah the hill was a killer.Rooms: We were in a bronze mobile home and it was very clean and there was so much room to move only thing negative was the stain on the sofa but they came and cleaned it straight awayNearby activities: Alot of nearby activities to join in with, I wouldn't recommend the nature trail or bug hunt if you have children under 2 as there was nothing for him to do and they got annoyed with us because we were taking out time.Safety: Very safeWalkability: The hills were a real killer I'm asthmatic and they were a nightmare I don't drive so we had to rely on mums car to take us up and down.Food & drinks: Saxon the drinks and nice were good and very well priced the same as the live lounge, but the mash and barrel was awful the food was warm and horrible and took ages to arrive then staff were rude expect for Jade and another young girl.

We got an Airb&b. The van was overpriced, dirty and dingy, and rundown! The site itself is lovely with a great clubhouse and pool with a huge slide. Security staff were friendly.

Having a fantastic time at Coombe Haven Holiday Park. The weather has been great, the cocktails have been perfect and the service we have received from Megan and Oliver has been nothing other than exceptional. Holly - you have a fantastic team of staff who are an asset to your team. Thank you.

Absolutely lovely holiday destination, cannot fault it whatsoever. Cheap and cheerful getaway for the family if you need a break asap. I have gone here countless times within the past few years and it has never let me down. Staff are absolutely lovely.Rooms: Accommodation is decent if in a cheaper caravan (for example one of the Savers), bathroom door lock is frequently broken in these but besides that there is very rarely an issue. In more expensive caravans I have to say they are absolutely lush, never had a single issue in one of these and no matter how much you spend the accommodation should be perfectly fine.Nearby activities: You can drive into nearby Hastings if you fancy a trip off park or there is a beach nearby to the park if its a hot day. If you do not have a car you can bus it into Hastings for the day from just outside the park.Safety: The park is very hilly and some hills are extremely steep, I have tripped over a couple of times going down these but young ones should be alright if you hold their hands tight down the main hills. Safety in the main complex is phenomenal as security are brilliant, any issues are sorted right away so should be a safe and happy experience as long as you mind the hills.Walkability: If you are on the upper side of the park it is very easy to get to the main complex but if you are on the lower side you do have to venture up steep hills, which does tire out almost anybody.Food & drinks: You can get a bite to eat in the parks restaurant, The mash and barrel, or you can fetch something from Burger king, Papa Johns or the fish and chips van just outside the complex. The main restaurant is lovely although food is sometimes a bit cold and service can take a long time when busy (limited number of staff).
