Sainsburys Hove has gone to pot! Empty shelves whenever we go, always self scan checkouts closed, staff that look everywhere apart from at you when the checkout says assistance is coming. On top of all that they have a Ridiculous exit system that merely proves that you have a receipt for something, it could be for one item when you have a bag full of stuff!! What's the point of that? All it does is cause chaos on exiting the place. Not a problem for us now as after many years of using the store we are going elsewhere like many others looking at how few people are in there now.

Such a shame the cafe has closed permanently and still no sign of the new hubs opening. It was always a popular place as there's nothing in the area we can walk to with young children.

In these absolutely crazy times as regards Petrol/Diesel Sainsburys in West Hove service and organisational skills are second to none. Incredibly organised, extremely polite and helpful to everyone, if only all supermarkets were like this. The way in which they have manned the Petrol station in such an efficient way, also making it abundantly clear when they have ran out of Petrol, which unfortunately can't be said for alot of the other stations. Hopefully we will get back to some sort of normality soon. Well done Sainsburys @ West Hove Petrol station.

Tried to get a coffee with either cream or full fat milk. Told that they no longer serve this for health reasons. They are trying to get customers to make better choices! WHAT!!! Who are Sainsburys to tell me I can't enjoy cream in my coffee?? Enough of this WOKE culture.

I am disabled with osteoarthritis in my back hands and ankles, I came to Saintsbury's not to shop but to pick something up at Argos, I explained this to the person seeing people in and was told I have to go to the end of the queue. After standing in line for a very painful 45 minutes I got to Argos and told the staff there. I was told that I should have been asked to see the email from Argos and let in. I asked to speak to a manager of Saintsbury's to complain and was told there all in a meeting. Common sense told me that I should not have had to wait in a long queue for Saintsbury's when all I needed was Argos. Then on my way out I heard a member of staff tell some people that the reason they could not get a delivery was because, Sainsbury's were concentrating on putting the old and vulnerable first. That made me angry and I said out load don't believe that load of bull, I'm disabled and old and I can't get a delivery. Then I told them how I'd been treated they were as disgusted as I was. I can't get down for oldies hour because I have to wait for my carer to help me dress, I can't get a delivery, so when I go to shop I take my trolley to sit on and am happy to sit in a queue. But as for putting the old and vulnerable first, I don't think so

The cafe does dirt cheap fry ups but they're not for people who care about how food tastes.
