The Manager (I think his name is Reece) and Katie were extremely helpful today. They went above and beyond in rectifying the mistake made by Uber Eats when part of my order was missing. Thank you!!

What a robbery!!! Milk 15p less in Asda; same fish 75p less; equivalent eggs 60p less; same chips 90p less in Asda. No doubts they're profits orientated.

Now that everyone knows the Meridian centre is going to be developed (new proper town centre) unfortunately the CO OP is gradually going down hill. The little coop on the main road is much better.

I have no clue as to why other reviewers experienced such a lousy service. It is true that this coop is definitely not like the other larger super-stores, but what you do have is PEOPLE. Lovely service staff who carry your shopping to the car if you are elderly, staff who will, from their own pockets, help you out if you are a few pennies or pound short. The staff in this establishment will always try to help in any way possible and will take that extra step just because they WANT to.This is a Co-Op and as such the shelves might vary but invariable most of the shelves are restocked daily and, as far as I have noticed, Thursday and Saturday nights the shelves get a good clear out and then re-stocked in bulk. There is a handy toilet just outside that is cleaned hourly, and there is also a cab office in case you needed help getting home with your shopping. The quality of the produce is of very high standards, particularly their organic range. There is also a Peacocks within the store and fresh bread and pastries are baked every morning. The parking is plentiful and there ARE street lights so you can see where you are going, its just that these people respect the surrounding nature and do not have the huge sodium or halogen lights other establishments have, this supermarket is, after all, found at the back of a field and nature reserve, surrounded by large trees and spectacular greenery; the amount of birds that nest there is surprising and exhilarating, I am guessing it wouldn't be the same if the trees where chopped down to put up flood lights just so that you can go from your car 10 meters to the entrance of the store. Finally the whole store is sparkling clean and there is also a general post office that you can do your bank, such as deposits and withdrawals along with depositing checks etc.5 stars CoOp Peacehaven Meridian

Pity about this shop, staff are very polite when they are there, after about 4pm though it seems it?s only those horrible self checkout things.Taking the mickey with the constant price hikes, things are not going up at the rate they keep putting the prices up in this store so voting with my feet, sorry.

Order was cancelled with no reason given and no apology. Contacted store same day and next day and got impression senior staff had no idea what was going on. Very very disappointing

Car park has no lighting, it?s a one way system but when you leave a parking bay there are no arrows so easy to go the wrong way. No humans at the check-out and shelves empty. Completely different to the high standards of local Co-ops.

Ideal location, not the cheapest supermarket. Very good size. However you need to open all your self checkouts to keep the queue down. Tesco uses dividers between their self checkouts so they can keep them all open during covid. Maybe this is something you need to consider.

I saw someone fight an old lady, about 75, for the last pack of sausage rolls. Proper scrap, great fight, would go again.

Co-op is an ok shop, you do not shop there unless you are passing, or just need a couple of bits. It can be expensive and they never have anyone on the tills, always self service. The worst thing about the store is it's placement within the meridian centre. This place is horrible, lots of empty unit's and a hang out for school kids.

Quiet shop in a centre of other businesses. Not straightforward entrance.

This Co-op is great. One of the better ones as it is a massive shop, they sell a massive selection of food, I'm pretty sure the do delivery as well, maybe not from this coop, but definitely In Peacehaven at least. They also have a peacocks inside the building to the far right of the coop as you enter, and they have a smaller building that PCS hold in the morning and sometimes for concerts every now and again.
