Recently moved to Peacehaven. Registering at the health centre was very easy, received follow up phone call. Just had my first appointment and it was excellent. All the staff very friendly and professional. Well done! Very impressive

Just joined, what a great surgery. Don?t listen to everyone?s negative comment. Staff are friendly and professional . Yes you have to wait on the phone for an appointment but so be it! I can?t praise this surgery enough!

Great reception staff. Helpful. Great Doctors, have referred me twice for urgent investigations in the last 5 years.

Gets worse and worse can never get through as engaged, now just rings and cuts off after a few minutes. No wonder A & E are inundated. Why not have some slots to book on the internet say in the afternoon would be helpful

Definitely not fit for purpose. Simply cannot get an appointment not even for an advanced booking. Who's idea was it to amalgamate all 4 surgeries into 1. Disgusting

If I could rate zero I would! Absolutely abysmal. You can never get an appointment! Your medical problem is never ever important enough to actually get an appointment with an actual doctor! Absolute disgrace but living. In Peacehaven we are held to ransom as there are not other surgeries. Genuinely wish I could move out of the area just to receive some proper medical care as I have never known anything like it before in my life!

If I could I would give it 0 stars. The appointment system is an absolute joke. The lines are always busy, you can call dead at 2pm as told by the not so helpful receptionist, wait on the line for 45 min only to be told there are no more appointments. Staff have lack of basic customer care skills or just human emphaty. The solution to get an appointment is to come back another day and que outside from 8:15am (that doesn't guarantee that you will get a appointment). I wish all good health and hope you never have to attend this place because they will not help.

Not fit for purpose, a continually failing example. Since the closure of Rowe Avenue surgery the service offered here is nothing short of abysmal. With the merger of Rowe Avenue a risk assessment should have been in place and contingency plans also, planning for and being able to deal with the transition. The open letter from the Practice Manager in the Telscombe Town Council news letter added insult to injury stating that the issues were in part due to the telephone system. It is still impossible to get through on the phone. The transition happened a while ago now and the recovery plan if there was one should have been implemented and delivered by now, after all you must have known how many patients you were getting from Rowe Avenue, the call volumes and so on. Recently I managed to speak to a doctor on the phone after three days of trying and being told to call at 2pm that day or 8am the following day. When I did get through the doctor said "you should have phoned earlier" and "I suggest you need to go to A and E". I said I had been trying for three days to get an appointment! The time for excuses has long passed in my opinion and all the negative reviews here are the "tip of the iceberg" and indicative of the service we receive. What is happening/wrong? What is being done to recover and improve? When can we expect to see improvements and when will the phone answering improve? Perhaps the Practice Manager should publish an apology and an open letter update in the Telscombe Town Council news letter and ask for feedback from service users.Latest update. You phone and select call back as you are 31 or 12 in the queue. You get the call back and there are no appointments. If you phone at 8am you are asked to call back at 2pm later that same day which you do and are asked to call back at 8am the following day only for the previous days example to be repeated i.e. no appointments. I was asked if my call was for an emergency, well no if it was an emergency I will phone for an ambulance. It was not an emergency hence my call to the doctors surgery, is that not normal practice? I was and am in pain and want to speak to a doctor so what am I meant to do?

Have been calling the surgery since last Wednesday, each time I have been told that no appointments are available and to call back! The system is not fit for purpose and I am left feeling extremely frustrated. I hit the redial button from 8am this morning a total of 96 times and eventually got connected. I was currently 16th in the queue... eventually got to position 1 and spoke to a receptionist who informed me that I would need to call back at 2pm as no appointments left! This surgery does not deserve even 1 star. This is the result of merging 2 surgeries into 1 and I for one do not ever remember being consulted as a patient about that, it was just pushed through.

This place is dangerous. There is no triage system in place, no one asks you why you are calling or why you need to see a doctor. There are no appts. My dad was told to come back in a week as he has a bad ear infection. Guess what no appts. The medication he has been given, isn't working. He can't eat or sleep due to the pain and they don't care. Local people will end up dying due to medical negligence. Worst of all, there appears to be no willingness, no sense of urgency to address this ongoing disgrace, not from the surgery or those that commision them. Absolutely disgusting.

I would rate this a zero. If by some miracle you can get through on the phone you have to beg for an appointment only to be told there are none you must call at 2pm. Every time this has happened there's no appointments at 2pm ..so you are told to call the next day and so it goes on. The receptionist would not give her name as they are not allowed to. So this is Havens Health policy ?? I am checking.

Shocking service from admin staff no one wants toDeal with and sort out issues you get told to ringSomeone else or call back later???.People would not be calling asking for prescription if you didn?t need them .How about I book you a phone appointment with responsible person that can sort prescriptions or a Gp.Would be the right way to help people.NOT IMPRESSED by management .

The worse service on earth. Never been able to book an appointment. We have to call every day at 8 and pray that we will be lucky. It's been weeks and still no luck. What should we do in the meantime?!
