Had a really lovely stay apart from some late night noise from the "Walton's" family shouting goodnight to each other at midnight. Rooms are basic but clean. Shower curtain was a bit smelly but the shower was fine. Location isn't idyllic but it is a functional hotel. Staff were really helpful & The Treacle mine next door was a great place to eat. Good place for a stopover.

Very enjoyable stay we was allowed to check in early at no extra cost the treacle mine pub wasn't impressed with as was not always open but when it was food was great you do need a car if you stay here but other than that it was

Stayed 2 nights, first night very little sleep as the guest in the room next door had the TV volume up loud all night. Complained to reception next morning and they said they would have a word with the guest and offered us a different room. It must have worked as there were no problems the next night, lovely sleep, very quiet. No road noise.

Clean and tidy. Room very small for a family room. Had to get on the bed from the bottom as no space around. 1 very hard chair to sit on!Food & drinks: Breakfast was great

When I checked in I was asked to put my vehicle details on the form which I did. Just before Christmas I received a penalty charge notice. I called the hotel and I was told I?d have to appeal it. I explained the situation in the appeal and the response I got was that either I failed to use the machine correctly or I didn?t get my registration correct on the machine but on this occasion they would waive the fine! Great. Obviously reception did nothing with the car details I provided.

Welcoming. Room 24 needs ,draws , light over kettle , proper shelf BOTH sides of the bed a chair in the wet room , new batteries in the hand controller, TV DESPERATELY NEEDS RE TUNING. , a hook or stopper to hold the door back to leave room ,large hooks for towels on wetroom wall near shower.I hope this helps.
