I can highly recommend this surgery. They have been, polite, helpful, and professional. From the reception staff to the doctors, nurses and paramedics.

It was good, right up until they made me into a pariah. I am very disappointed with the state of their "care" towards me. Only two members of staff are great, I am sad to say. My mental health has suffered due to the recent treatment of me.

This typifies a branch of the NHS that is a catastrophic failure and a complete waste of taxpayers money. Repeated disappointment, I have just this year had a quad heart bypass and I wanted to see a doctor but got palmed off with seeing a nurse and a pharmacist. Needless to say my problem wasn't dealt with just guesswork that didn't cure the problem

What a terrible doctors this is you can?t get an appointment whenever you call because they only have one doctor is the surgery unbelievable should close this down more receptionists than doctors

Terrible place to get medical help. They ask you to phone in the morning for the appointment but when you actually ring them in the morning they'll tell you that they have nothing left to offer you. Looking for other options now.

Over 40 calls to get an appointment, yes 40 calls. This place is arrogant in terms of providing a service and just hides behind claims of being busy without doing anything about it.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SURGEY!!!!Unless you want to be spoken rudely to by the receptionist, wait months for simple tasks to be completed and never get an appointment.STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN

I have had some telephone consultations with Dr Creek over the last few months and he has been fantastic, helpful and so reassuring. Despite the pressurised services the NHS are currently, all of the members of the Mead surgery have been a real credit to the NHS. Thank you all for your hard work and brilliant service!

what a positive transformation in service here at The Meads, I rang this morning as I had a very severe pain in my knee, to my surprise I was offered a same day appointment to see a Locum Doctor (I think it was Dr Noe) Anyway she was absolutely brilliant, very good care I can not fault the help and assistance I received today, she quickly assessed and diagnosed I had arthritis and prescribed medication all delivered in very professional yet cheerful manner, I can not thank her enough, and wish she was full time here

Terrible. The receptionists are rude and unsympathetic. Making a phone call, to then book a phone call to occur in two weeks with a doctor for a conversation that takes two minutes!!! It makes no sense to me. The inefficiency is awful. The doctors are helpful, some of them. Others are very dismissive and have a bedside manner of making me feel like they don?t have time for me. Appointments are always running late, as much as almost an hour. It?s got to the point where I have to pay private fees in order to get my issues seen in a reasonable amount of time instead of waiting weeks for a conversation of where to start.

Useless, takes 2 weeks to get just a phone appointment. My girlfriend tried calling to book herself an appointment and gets horrible verbal treatment down the phone. They don?t seem to want to help or have any care about your issues. Even when you are finally seen after having to wait an eternity. Your symptoms are dismissed if the first test comes back normal, instead of further investigation on the problem you?re still experiencing.

Nicolas deserves a raise, amazing person he explained everything and gave great service. 2 stars however because of the calling and reception... not going into detail because it honestly was pathetic but it got me in a right mess.

Shower of $hite. Here's a concept....if you going to make people wait in a queue for 30 minutes how about being able to actually help the people you included in that queue...otherwise what's the point? Just wasting peoples time. A glimpse into how badly run this place is....

Took half day holiday for an appointment to have my ears syringed and cleared of wax. When I saw the nurse she said she couldn't do it and wanted to make me another appointment. I had explained to the receptionist why I was making this particular appointment (as would have been using olive oil drops the week before this appointment). Very angry as this was wasted time off and still not sorted.
