Most Staff very friendly, but the products have gone down hill since you changed to Morrisons, a lot of the fruit is not good I brought some little oranges the other day and was no good by the next day. Jempson's meat has always been very good and that doesn't seem to have changed.

Jempsons is such a useful mini supermarket and post office, as a local I use it often. Recently changed from Co-Op products to Morrisons, which is an improvement. Only one regret - they dropped the Loseley Farm Hazelnut yoghourt, absolutely delicious, which was a regular treat. I would love it if it could be brought back. Such a boon that they have their own car park, but only for an hour, after which you will get a ticket. Please Jempsons, could we have a bit longer to shop?

been using this shop all week as we are in the area , i have definitely supported this high street this week , so this is a local grocery store with fresh bakes i grabbed some cheese scones and Victoria sponge for lunch with friends and everyone said how lovely they were

I?ve always been very impressed whenever I?ve shopped in Jempsons Wadhurst (hence the two stars) yet today I had the worst service by far, which I hope management take note of. I wanted to send a package back using the post office , a young lad (without a name badge) approached the counter, containing his conversation with his other team members. No hello, no greeting whatsoever. He conducted the whole transaction in silence. Handed me my receipt and walked away. Not a single word uttered the entire time and his attitude and demeanour was terrible. Shocking customer service, which is very unusual for Jempsons. I was very surprised. I did want to shop for some other bits, but figured I wouldn?t bother if that was the service I?d receive at the counter. So I left. Such a shame.

Visiting Wadhurst for the second time and went into Jempsons.... its a little like a throwback..... to a BETTER time before supermarkets had convinced us that pre packaged distance made food was the best way :-)). What an amazing local store. The bakery and meals made by the chain are such amazing value and are wonderful. The chilli jam.... OMG, amazing. Wish we had some of this in Brighton to shake things up a little as the offers here would be ashamed by comparison

Very disappointing lack of effort today at Wadhurst Jempson's. The first person simply didn't have the command of English to understand my enquiry, or the sense of customer service to go and seek help to answer my question. The second person strode off and lost me. When I caught up and asked about another item, he said he assumed they didn?t have what I was looking for, without offering to check. Thanks for making it clear that Jempson's is not the place to go if you need help finding groceries. I will definitely remember that.2508 - comment on their response: this specious response fails to acknowledge a bad attitude/approach, whatever language challenges anyone has, and completely ignores my comments about the second member of staff. This simply confirms that Jempson's has AN APPALLING LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, INCLUDING THOSE WHO RESPOND TO COMPLAINTS!

Thank you to the staff at Jempson's for everything you've been doing during the last year to ensure the safety of everyone shopping within the store. As a Wadhurst resident it's very reassuring to have security at the door ensuring all those entering are wearing a face covering and hands are sanitised, it provides us with confidence to enter the store knowing every precaution has been taken to protect everyone in our community. Aaron who can often be found at the door of the store is always polite and has a smile on his face. All the staff are friendly and helpful, I used to shop elsewhere in the village but now do so in Jempsons.

It?s the worst experience ever. The security guy allows himself to be above the law and human rights- the shop policy can not be above. I used to use Jempsons disinficator and got severe skin condition that took me more than 2 weeks to heal! I came into the shop and explained it. I cleaned my hands before coming and would never risk the health of my children. I was refused service.Where at the mean time the dispenser is used by hundreds clients and never cleaned! So many times walking or driving by I witnessed staff members coming out and coming in without using hand sanitizer! I haven?t seen the same security guy changing his mask every two hours as it is required, the staff members are touching notes, products - they are not sanitising they hands each time! After returning home I broke into tears and my hands are still shaking... Double standards and disgraceful attitude!
