Didn?t have my medication 3 days after the prescription was sent. So had to go to 4 different pharmacies to find my injection before my app.Went to collect my dads meds and they close between 1-2 for a lunch break. What pharmacies close during the day!!! Just rotate your staff for the lunch hour so they can all have a rest and stay open. Balls

Extremely slow service! They never have enough stock of medicine! They even don?t care about to let you know this! We face this problem every time we come here! So pathetic!After 5 months I came back again to this boots! Terrible experience is continuing! Waited 45 minutes for prescriptions! Then I had to left without prescription! What a jock!

Service seems to get worse by the day. I had a prescription issue on Thursday (19/01), I've called to check and they will apparently send me a SMS when its ready. It used to be so good with the previous staff. Why change a good thing. I'm still waiting..............

All the staffs in the boot Ballard walk in basildon are all lazy and very slow and unprofessional. They take all kind of breaks every hour and they never answer the phone when we call them all day for almost two months now and is getting worse by the day.There were massive snow and as a disabled person I can be going out untiI I call them to know if my pills were ready but surprisingly they never answer their telephone calls which is very bad. They need different people to run that place. Everyone kept complaining and giving bad reviews here

Extremely inefficient, slow and badly managed. There seems to be a lot of running up and down shop, forgetting things, asking for them again, not placing orders when needed, not tracking deliveries, etcI needed to convert a prescription while on a business trip so decided to use the nearest Boots. It was impossible to check avaialbility or phone them (they do not pick phone). First, I had to stay in line for 40 minutes (including 15 minutes outside in freezing cold). Being told to wait for 30 minutes to dispense. Was runnign late by that time and stupidly left the prescription with them expecting to return and collect. On return, the line was even longer, had to wait 50 minutes (including 15 minutes outside in freezing cold). My prescription was misplaced, lost, then found again.While in queue, I had ample opportunity to listen to natives, who all complained that this is the "worst pharmacy in town for years".One lady had to wait for 45 minutes only to be told they do not have her order DESPITE telling her it will definitely be available (and she also pointed out it is impossible to phone or check online)When she took a photo to show the long line to show to her boss to explain why she was late for work, the staff became verty defensive, declared that anyone who does not like the service "could go elsewhere" (the aggressive tone was implying "get out of here"), refused to dispensed her the rest of the medicine until she deleted all recordings and actually threatened to call police (at some point storming in back office deplaring "I am calling police") if anyone complains or show the length of the queue!!! Which by that time was about 40 people.I will affirm that the lady who complained remained insistent, but polite and her complaint was entirely reasonable. And the lady (who is very diminutive in stature) was physially intimidated by a large tall receptionist who was towering over her shouting how she will be arrested. The staff behaved unprofessionally, was loud, threatening and aggressive, like spoiled entitled individuals dealign with people they have power over.To me, many of the people in the queue looked vulnerable and like they (unlike myself) did not have much choice of where to go which is sad.For me personally this branch is now off-limits - not in my worst dreams. It is also in such sharp contrast to my other experiences with Boots (in my home town or elsewhere), that I were truly shocked. I always treated Boots as somewhat overpriced, but certainly top tier in terms of competence and reliability - if you need something done and do not mind paying slightly extra for this - this is the place to go. It will be done, reliably, competently and efficiently. In my home town, if they do not have medicine in stock and you ar ein a hurry, the will locate nearest availability, phone them and organise stock to be held for you.

What a shambles ! New staff everyday does not help with the flow of business!!Compete and utter chaos!And they always like to blame the receptionist at the Doctors !Was phoning them while in the queue and witnessed their phone being taken off the hook! Disgusting, the management should be seriously ashamed !

Went in with a personal problem, only knowing 1 type of treatment available to me - refused to sell me it without prescription (understandable), but also didn't offer any over the counter alternatives to help. After a chat to my GP they said I can get over the counter stuff, and the pharmacy should have helped.

Boots, Ballards Walk, Basildon. Prescriptions always dispensed days late & without any contact or text notification. Phone never answered by staff, they are extremely slow with several staff confering over 1 issue while ignoring queuing customers often leading to arguements. Poorly managed & run, virtually no customer service.
