Amazingly friendly! Was new to the hobby, James helped me pick a faction, give them a name, colour scheme ideas, signed me up to battle honours and offered great insight via his experience and vast knowledge. The true James Workshop.Store itself has a great atmosphere, nice staff means nice patrons all happy to chat and help, but welcoming to new people. A much more relaxed professional contrast to the London stores. Which whilst bigger feel a little? in-money-outish.If i had to offer one criticism; the man deserves a bigger shop. The store has enough loyal customers and regulars to fill 4+ tables with local tourney play or narratives. I doubt the extra space would be wasted with such a great environment!

Usually just pop in for paint and supplies, and I'm always greeted by a friendly face and good customer service. Whenever there's a game happening at one of the tables everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. I don't play any Warhammer games, but staff are more than happy to talk about other systems.

Manager James is always so friendly, accepting and welcoming and such a great help and depth of knowledge with whatever question or mad idea you may want to put to him! (Poor gentleman has had a fair few of them from me recently!). Never any pressure or force to buy anything, given your own space and time to look about, manager is all about what YOU want from the hobby; which is brilliant!Environment in the store is always pleasant and customers are some of the coolest people you'll rub shoulders with.Always happy to visit as this is my go-to store for all things Warhammer! :)

I would highly recommend James if you are new to the hobby or looking for some advice. Never played 40k previously and he took the time to play a small game with myself so that may get an understanding of the game. Picked up the new codex and matching dice set of course and will be back with my painted salamanders (forge drakes) for further advice and more necrons to burn.

I went to this store Saturday morning.I have recently started collecting and painting again and I had a great time in the store while also learning alot about the newwer ranges.A great albeit small selection to pick from but I still got the right paint and Terminators.The owner (I presume) helped me out finding everything, was extremely helpful, friendly and very supportive. I was given a few free GW sprues and white dwarfs. He even offered to introduce my girlfriend to the hobby with a age of sigmar and 40k figure.I left the store feeling very happy and informed.I cannot recommend this store enough.
