Always friendly and helpful, this is a great pharmacy. If they don't have what you need in stock, they try to suggest an alternative (obviously where appropriate), and they are always willing to give help and advice. They have a great text service to let you know when prescriptions are ready to collect, so no wasted journeys. They also offer service such as BP checks and the flu injection.

The phone is never answered, making it very difficult to order a repeat prescription!

Just a quick hop off the A127 and you're in Tesco. It's a pretty decent store with groceries downstairs and clothes and home stuff upstairs. I find this quite good because if I don't go past the home and clothes departments I don't get tempted to buy anything. Their customer service department is good I've had to take a few things back and they've always been fine about it. They have a good fish counter that serves more varieties that a lot of other supermarkets. Quite like some of their clothes and the home stuff, bought a really nice, inexpensive vase the other day. Good number of child and disabled parking space and even when they are full the other spaces are pretty wide. All in all a decent tesco.

This shop is very small compared to the one in Pitsea and conqequently doesn't offer as much variety. However, like every other Tesco it is well staffed, with the shelvves well stocked and very reasonable prices - especially if you collect your clubcard points too!

Tescos have recently refitted this store by adding an upstairs and upgraded it to an extra. Its quite abit smaller than the Pitsea extra store, but seems to stock the same products. They offer a vast range of products. I don't visit this tesco as often as the Pitsea store, but do prefer the feeling of this store, though its out of the way for me as I don't drive. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. There is also a small cafe at the back of the checkouts which offers a nice selection of hot food and snacks.

This is called an extra store but it is not as big as Lakeside, Gallows corner, Romford or Pitsea that are all nearby. The staff on the shop floor are nice and helpful but the person usually on customer services needs retraining really quickly. Upstairs are clothes, homeware and electrical goods. Downstairs food, drink, cleaning products and the like and also a pharmacy and small opticians. There is a bakery but they have a habit of overcooking the bread sometimes it is black. There is often very long queues with very slow staff serving but they have just put in self scan checkouts for baskets so this can speed you up a bit.

Superstore which carries everything possible - plenty of parking with designated parking for disabled and child-friendly. Great clothing department which is very inexpensive for quality items. Altogether great!
