“Often shop here as I like sainsbury but there are no bags provided for fresh produce unless you pay for the net ones. The parking is limited if you want to shop in Braintree as well make sure you don't go over 2 1/2 hours or you will get an £85 parking ticket! As I did!”

“First time user of this store. Very good selection, fresh & frozen. Prices are very reasonable. Needed assistance, staff member indicated where the item was. Very helpful. Like the idea of helping yourself to shopping bags, once done then you say how. Many bags you have used. Well done one and all.....”

“Staff are always friendly and helpful, even the very young staff go out of their way to help you. People talk alot about American customer service but I prefer our staff when they are so good, give them the credit they deserve. It is easy to spend more money than you expected but I guess you could say when the shelves are as well stocked and displays are set up as they should be people will impulse buy... Well done keep it up”

“M&S cafe in Braintree is always under staffed and busting at the seams! But no matter what day you go in, there is a lovely young man named Luke who never stops! He’s always kind and generous. This young man should definitely get a Christmas bonus for all his tireless work. Thank you for being one of the nicest members of staff.”

“More expensive than tescos and lidels etc, but some of their meats are very nice, and cakes are nicer, more choices of vegetables and fruit and a lot more choice in cheeses.”

“Feels cheaper than Sainsbury's overall , and I always find great variety of items in the middle isles , such as baby stuff , clothing , kitchenware , appliances etc. Would like to be shopping here more often. Food variety is also great.”

“Staff are always great and helpful especially when dropping off parcels. Not sure why people complain about queuing for a minute when they happen in any retail store. Parking super convenient too!”

“Been using the store for over 8 years. Friendly staff and can have a good laugh with them. They are also very helpful when it comes to parcel drop off. Yes they can only accept so many due to space. Which I understand. Store is also very organised with a large car park. Which has been sorted recently to make it safe pedestrians.”

“Well not Tesco's fault but there was a customer ( white man with his wife) and swore at me. He called me F words three times and I am absolutely terrified the way he spoke to me..I am not sure if I can go out for shopping again. Please treat woman well every human with respect, no matter what ever back ground or ethnicity they belong to....???”
