Went in to close an ISA and to discuss my options and was greeted by a very helpful man who told me my options and advised me with what to do, not only that around a week later I went in again to deposit money and as I was queuing he, once he had helped everyone in the bank came over to ask if I needed help. In short, very good customer service and glad I went in.

Customer service is good but they need to look at there opening and closing times. Closing at half 3 in the afternoon and not opening a weekends makes it very difficult for me to be able to pay money into my account.

My dad, sister an I had a appointment with Jane at the Braintree branch. I would have to say how professional she was in helping us sort out our problem and in a sensitive & caring way. The whole process was very swift and I would recommend Halifax Braintree.

25 minutes in the queue, fair enough it was busy with only 2 people working but no apology? The machine broke as I tried to pay money into my account so I was stood for another 20 minutes as they tried to fix it - I understand these things happen but NOT ONCE did either of the 2 people trying to fix the machine even look at me... let alone, apologise. Very poor customer service.

After asking in branch to be sent a contact less card I waited around a month and had nothing sent. I received a phone call to say I can upgrade my account which I declined as I thought there was no need. I asked again to be sent a card and would you believe it nothing happened again but my card I am using got cancelled. Useless bank and staff

Very poor customer service. Waited 15min in cue before i got served, no apology. only one lady on the desk the other was cashing up . It was only 4pm! People were coming in with there takings to bank. And all she kept doing was looking up at the cue growing. Very very poor . Will not be returning if i can help it. Thank god for internet banking. I only visit the bank when i absolutely have to......

Had an appointment at the Braintree Branch this morning. I was greeted by a member of the reception staff and offered a welcoming cup of coffee. I had my meeting with Jordan who discussed the options open to me 're the various accounts.I can only say as this was my first time dealing with the staff at this branch is that they are friendly and professional. I would have no problem in recommending this branch. Well done!
