“We have taken two of our classes on working farm trips. Jacky the Country Trust coordinator was brilliant she found and organised practical activities at a different farm for each visit to suit what our classes wanted to achieve from their visits. It was brilliant for the children to meet real farmers and learn about their day to day lives and what happens on the farm. The children learnt so many things from the day they came away enthusiastic and with a good understanding of seeing it in real life an experience most probably would never otherwise have. Without country trust and farmers willing to let children see and learn about their farms, with people like Jacky to coordinate the visits children would be missing out on amazing opportunities and experiences so thank you to The Country Trust snd everyone who supports, gives up time and helps to fund these opportunities.
