The counter service at Chelmsford is not available to personal customers on a Saturday. There are two websites accessible from the internet, one says this but the other does not. Waste of a couple of hours this morning.

We moved to UK in 2018 and was looking to open the bank account. After a few considerations and we took a chance and went with Natwest. The bank assigned us to Ms Ceri Lewis to help facilitated us. We managed to get the bank accounts opened very quickly onced we arrived UK via the appointment made before we arrived.We were looking for the simple bank account, just debit and credit card, minimum fee. Ceri was very nice and proposed us the products to fit our needs.Natwest really meet and exceed our expectations. With the free accounts you already have all the services, no fee at all except when you use the debit card aboard which it clearly informed. The transactions using web is fantastic, there also the BOT to help with all the issues. I found them very useful and they transferred us to the real agent quickly when needed.5 stars!

Just went today (Saturday 2 Jan) to find they were closed. Acceptable I suppose if there wasn't a poster in the window showing their 'festive hours' and that they should be open.Useless, incompetent staff.

Went to bank today (Saturday) to find they were closed! Every other bank was open. And to add insult to injury the sign on door said their opening hours were now Mon-Fri 10am-3pm
