Tried cancelling my limitless card and was told that I wouldn't get changed for that month as of a holiday only to see that they have taken my money

It's a chain cinema so you probably know mostly what to expect. We also have an Everyman cinema in Chelmsford if you want a posher experience. It has seven cinema screens and it's pretty decent really. However, my real tip is to get the Odeon "My Limitless" card so you can visit whenever you want. It's normally discounted in December/January or for BLC holders. If you're a pensioner who enjoys film buy one and go every week. Or if you're not a pensioner but really like film get one anyway - beats the cr*p out of streaming. Plenty of parking available if you don't fancy the walk into town but ideally walk there and get some exercise. Plenty of local shops nearby to get snacks if you don't want to get it in the cinema (think it's discounted in the cinema for cardholders but check yourself). You're welcome.

Honestly, unless you have free tickets/deals, it?s a better choice to pay for Everyman instead because here you get budget cinema quality for luxury cinema prices. The prices are double that of Vue, and without a deals like meerkat Mondays, Odeon tickets are only a couple of quid cheaper than everyman while having far more uncomfortable seats.Even the premier recliners were quite stiff and only had a cup holder and more leg room. I think the normal chairs were more comfortable. The facilities seem pretty dated and the screen was fairly small. The food is around the same price as Everymans anyway while being lower quality, although it should be noted you can bring your own food into the Odeon while you cannot for everyman. Which can make it cheaper if you prepare, but you sometimes find yourself in a cinema with someone opening the noisiest packaging like I did.The staff can?t be faulted, they are always friendly and the venue is always clean. They do a good job with everything that is in their control.

Sadly had to go to Odeon as Everyman had sold out on the showing I wanted. I gave it another chance, as it had been about 10 years or so, but all the same problems remain. Unbearably uncomfortable seats to the point where me and my girlfriend had to get up and do some stretching outside the screening as our backs ceased up as well as our knees where they were digging into the chair in front (I'm only 5"9). The arm rests are plastic as well and dig into your forearms. It shouldn't be this uncomfortable to watch a film, please invest in some new much needed seating. Every other cinema is heaven compared to this one. I'll never go again. Also, sound leaks from other screens into screen 3, this is ridiculous. Honestly the worst cinema I've ever been to.

Friendly and very helpful girl serving, the only slight iritation was that the girl checking the tickets into the screening was on her mobileClean and comfortable

Main complaint- the toilets. Dirty, don't lock, lack of paper. I go regularly to the Odeon & they've been like this for over a year.

First of all I'd like to say, although the assistant behind the counter was, pleasant enough she could have been more helpful. We found that we could not pay over the counter with a gift card, because we didn't have a bit of plastic at the bottom of the card, we had to book on line, as she was not busy I am sure she could have offered more help.I am assistant manager within a busy charity shop and I completely understand when things are busy. It's impossible to do so, but when it's not busy I always offer help and sometimes even if I run off my feet I still offer but they will have to wait.

Poor. If I was to use a single word. The facilities are dated, seats uncomfortable, and the food lack lustre (not to mention extremely expensive).I mean, I expect pay though the roof for popcorn and drinks when I visit a cinema ? but I at-least expect them to taste good, in this instance that was unfortunately not the case.I?d honestly suggest you save your money and go elsewhere ? Everyman springs to mind.

Not as expected. Seating arrangement in Some screens are not up to mark. Others are good. Personal perspective. Audio quality is fine in Almost all the screens I watched.

Long waits for food orders/popcorn and no aircon in packed theatres during peak summer time. Not the greatest experience unfortunately

Very poor sound quality with main feature in Screen 4. Several times dialogue was incoherent which spoiled experience. Expected much better for price paid for admission.Staff from interior Costa franchise using disabled toilet preventing genuine less able customers of cinema to use.Disappointed on all levels with this first visit.

I took the kids to see the Spiderverse film with discounted tickets bought through my childcare voucher scheme. We were in Screen 1 and everything was clean and comfortable. There were some adverts at the beginning of course and they were appropriate for the PG audience. The toilet facilities were totally fine (didn't know what to expect after reading some of the other comments). Staff were helpful and polite. Bicycle parking is available right out front. Image and sound quality were great. Air conditioned room. I personally wouldn't have paid full price for the tickets as that would have been £40 for the 3 of us and we paid £15 with the discount.
