All the staff have been very efficient. But please be aware, that any appointments always over run. I think that it?s due to the high level of patients that they take on. Also be prepared to travel if you have complications. I?ve had to travel from Essex to Southampton for a procedure. Which takes about four minutes. I?ve been waiting over two hours!!! This is not the first time I have had to wait over two hours for a simple five minute appointment.

I had to cancel my surgery due to unforeseen circumstances. As per their terms of conditions I am entitled to 50% of the deposit back within 28 days which they said was fine and being done. Here I am 4 months later still chasing up trying to get my money back.

I was a little nervous prior to attending my appointment, but Bethany listened to allmy questions and reassured me. Every test that took place she explained what it was for. She is a wonderful people person and an asset to Optical Express.

I am yet to undergo lens replacement but so far feel very reassured with the way I have been treated and my concerns and questions have been answered by Bethany and the team.. I feel much more confident and am looking forward to getting a good outcome.

Nicola made me feel very welcome and explained everything that she was going to do before I would be seen by William. The tests performed on my eyes were very in depth and it was reassuring to know that I was receiving a full eye heath check before it was decided if I would be suitable for the lens replacement surgery that I was interested in having. William gave me a full eye test as well and then went through the results of the tests that Nicola had done previously. I felt very relaxed during the whole consultation period. I was delighted to be told that I would be suitable for the surgery. Nicola went through the next steps of booking the date and also the dreaded overall cost. Nicola and William were very professional. I am now very much looking forward to the day that I will be able to ditch my glasses. Thank you Nicola and William.

Would NEVER advise anyone to go to Optical express to have there eyes altered!He had the multifucal lense replacement done as advised by them. Paid 6 thousand pounds. A year later he's back having eyes tested by them as he's lost vision in one eye ! He was told he would now need laser surgery on his eye as they had left debris in it. To which would be at his cost!!!So he had that one done ?? and 2 weeks later it happens to the other eye! We're now back with same old same old story he will need laser surgery in the other eye at his cost!!! Unbelievable.We have complained to which they use the usual legal information to be told its not there responsibility! ?Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER going there!!! It's a full on con. They know inna year you will need the laser surgery . So it amounts to 8 thousand in the end!!!!! Disgusting!!!!!!

Would 100% recommend. Staff were friendly from my first contact with Nicola Hill through to the aftercare. It's the best investment in yourself that you can make. So book in for a consultation. You'll be amazed at the results!

I have had a wonderful experience with the Chelmsford Branch. My surgery appointment is coming up in two days and Tracey has been very supportive throughout the process. She was very professional and kind during the initial consultation when I was very nervous. And following the appointment, I recieved calls from Tracey checking in and answering any queries and concerns I have. This has been an entirely positive process and I am looking forward to what comes next.

I found the Company to be Very Professional and Diligent in the Eye Scanning process. Nicola Hill and William were extremely helpful and a delight to meet. Unfortunately my only concern was the overall cost of the procedure. However I have used Optical Express 12 years ago on another treatment and that was very successful and well worth the investment at the time. ? Gx
