I have been using this pharmacy for the last few years with very good service. However the service today disappointed me. My husband picked up a prescription that was sent by the GP today along with some other items.When he came back home he questioned the cost. At that point I realised that the pharmacy also gave him a prescription that was a month old and I had asked them to return previously. I went back to the pharmacy and they refused to refund although it was their mistake. The reason was that the medicine had left the pharmacy. No acknowledgement that it left the pharmacy because they never returned them as I had asked them a month ago.The friendly lady asked the pharmacist who flat out refused to assist. Very disappointed.

An easy, friendly, efficient experience every time. Feels like old fashioned customer service has not been forgotten here. I have found my chemist.

Our only chemist now. All staff friendly, knowledgeable and very motivated to serve however they can. Combined with the NHS app for repeat prescriptions, they run a slick operation. Most of all, so friendly which contributes to the sense of community around here. Thank you!

Regularly seems to be issues between the gp sending prescriptions and the pharmacy receiving them, meaning prescriptions are getting lost and therefore not available. One of the senior pharmacists is extremely rude and seems to think the above issue is somehow the customers? fault based on how she speaks to people. It?s a shame, as the rest of the staff are lovely.

I ordered medication to be ready today but hubby would only be able to collect tomorrow due to work. Not a problem.Suddenly, a short while later, there was a knock on my front door and to my utter shock and surprise - a smiling friendly man was standing there with a Pharmacy packet held up in his hand for me to see.... it was my medication!!! He said that he was delivering from Shadforths Pharmacy!?? I was shocked and speechless with delight and appreciation!!? Shadforth Pharmacy ?Thanks so much for delivering my medication. It was such an unexpected but most welcomed surprise and from a super friendly smiling man. ? You made my day!
