I'm really sorry. I was on a mini Christmas doo. The bar wasn't busy at 730pm on a Friday just before Christmas. It was easy to buy drinks and the service was okay, though they seemed distracted. I've been in many a London Slug & Lettuce ..and they've been in-terms of service, atmosphere and enjoyment, so much better.Maybe it was short staffed, with staff fried by their previous nights work. I rarely criticise business, especially local ones. It's difficult to put a finger on what was wrong...it could have been just one dud night. I hope things get better for the sake of local jobs.

We did a bottomless brunch with Henry and he was brilliant at service, always had a drink and the atmosphere here was unreal. Definitely the place to be for a bottomless brunch in Chelmsford!
