Tried calling many times over the last few months for some of our customers medications, no one picks up the phone.

This pharmacy is an absolute joke I was on the phone to my mum whilst waiting for my medication and I was then abused by a woman. Who?s daughter was working behind the counter when I defended myself I was refused my medication for my young daughter who has a respiratory illness and needs her medication I don?t drive so I wasn?t able to get anywhere that evening to get it else where , they never get your medication correct and always so rude , I have there for changed my pharmacy and would never give them my time of day again , very bad

Very unsatisfactoryFollowing a very recent total reverse shoulder replacement, I had a telephone consultation with my G.P. on Tuesday 13 June 2023 during which he sent through a prescription for 100 Co-Codamol 15/500 painkillers. As the pharmacy is no longer open on Saturdays, I rang through on Friday 16 June to check that the prescription was ready to collect having given the pharmacy what I thought was sufficient time to download, print off and fill the prescription. But no, firstly the script couldn't be found, then when it was, they would not be able to fill it until the following week as they did not have enough stocks to do do.(apparently Head Office do not always send through medication stock orders when requested by the pharmacy!?) After some conversation it was eventually agreed that the pharmacy would partially fill the prescription by taking some of the tablets from another patients prescription and giving me an 'owing note' for the remaining tablets. So there are now two patients who have to return to the pharmacy to collect the balance of their prescriptions. If my prescription had been actioned on the day it was sent through by my GP, this would not have been an issue - or would it? The pharmacy assistant was very professional throughout and it is a very busy pharmacy, but since the majority of its pharmacy filling service was transferred to Runcorn, the standard of service to its patients has deteriorated and it is the poor assistants who have to bear the brunt of the dissatisfaction felt by patients.

Such a poor experience, definitely the worst chemist in the area, never have correct order, having to make multiple trips to collect a simple prescription, and I'm disabled. Luckily for them I can't give it 0 stars.

Just been to Rowlands pharmacy st johns road clacton ,picked up some first defence went to the counter three ladies messing about the back they all saw me not one acknowledge me wait for five minutes left the money on the counter and walk out ,we changed this pharmacy for another for our prescriptions because of the service will not be using again.One month +later still waiting for replyI have phoned the phone number below waited 3-4 minutes an answer machine said they would phone me back ,still waiting for that phone call seems to me keeping the customer waiting seems to run throughout the company.

The staff are helpful, even when they are busy, get my text message about prescription being ready, very happy with service.I have noticed that some of the customers are extremely rude, and i have heard them swearing and shouting at the staff, they have remained professional and continued with their work. Well done ladies.

What a shambles!! Staff sauntering around like headless chickens!! Phone ringing with notifications what?s so ever.I am owing a prescription ,that never seems to come in & they wont let me go to another pharmacy with it!!

Called to book my flu vaccination, no-one picked up. Went in to ask for flu jab - was told they didn't have it, saw a prominent sign saying "Open for Flu Vaccinations" so asked about it, and was told it was "for the other ones".While I was there the phone rang. The shop was empty except for me, there were 3 members of staff and not one picked up the phone or even acknowledged it was ringing.I asked when the correct vaccination would be available, and was told they didn't know and recommended I phoned Jaywick branch to see if they had any available.Waste of time, clueless staff, terrible customer service.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER!They have 6 members of staff behind the counter all chatting amongst themselves, only one of which is actually communicating with the 10 person long queue that goes out the door! Unfortunately the one dealing with customers is so slow if she went any slower she would go backwards! The only thing they have been trained in regards customer service is how to not look at anyone directly or acknowledge anyone desperately trying to catch their eye an make an enquiry! I swear to god I was once told by a staff member who looks like she?s escaped from a bad 80s movie her perm in a scrunchie atop of her head styled to look as pineapple as possible , that ?THE COMPUTER SAYS NAAAOOOOEWE! Judgemental, rude, ignorant! And like I said UNBELIEVABLY SLOW!!!

Phoned and booked in for a flu jab. This was cancelled as the pharmacist was stuck in traffic and rebooked, and when I turned up they informed me that they didn't have any of the vaccine! Then why are you taking bookings?!?! Won't be going there again.
