I overall enjoyed the fitting process however it seem like it was very rushed and seemed as tho they didn?t really care but overall fitting was fine and average at best however the time I had to wait for the clubs was outrageous they placed the order on my clubs for the 3 of may and I have only received them on the 21st of July and I wanted them for my birthday which was the 14. I also never received a call to tell me how long they was going to be or if there was any problems it was always me calling to check I called a total of 15 times to check in the nearly 3 month period of this which I was discusted about I was also told they would be 5 to 6 weeks which is fine but to never be told I was waiting longer is crazy to me and even when I FINALLY got my clubs there was no apology about there wait just ?there you go enjoy ?. I even spoke to a memeber of the Ipswich brand in American golf they even agreed that it is outrageous the time it has tacken and they are the people who told me when my clubs would be ready so overall I would not recommend going here for a fitting by any means because the time it took for my clubs to arive and it seems as tho they rushed the fitting process so I would not recommend and would appreciate a response

Very helpful to this newcomer to the game and my daughter's boyfriend and now hooked on the game. Helpful, not pushy and good guidance I.e what you need and not necessarily pushed to top of range, but what you need that will suit you.

Went in to see if they had any stromberg waterproof/shower proof trousers. The man said ?we have loads. You look like a 32 short? so I tried them on. Just a bit tight so tried on the 34?s. Perfect. Bought 2 pairs total £90 then a waterproof top reduced from £179 to £79. The guy was very helpful and had good interpersonal skills chatting all the time. I enjoyed our interaction. Great service with a smile

Will not be using American Golf in the future. It has nothing to do with the staff of the store at the Colchester branch they have always been very friendly and helpful. Long story short the company refused to honour a voucher for a poultry £26 that had expired over the covid period. They didnt seem to understand that people might have other things going on and not realise a voucher had expired! I had been a customer since starting to play golf and had purchased all 3 sets of irons 3 drivers 2 putters and countless sundries to that point which apparently meant nothing to them. I shall be using Online or Nevada Bob's going forward.

We were served quickly and efficiently by a friendly, knowledgeable member of staff. He picked out suitable size of waterproof jacket and trousers for my husband, which were a good fit. Purchased them and left store within 10 minutes. Excellent service.

I would recommend you take your own golf clubs to the driving range as we have never done it before so don't own clubs and used theirs which is ok if you are left handed or in a sand bunker because that's all they had to use , so asked for any others only to be told nope that's all we have

Had a footgolf party for mostly 6 year olds today. From start to finish highly professional, organised and really made arrangements very easy. Followed by a delicious pizza lunch for everyone. The whole group said what a pleasant experience it was. Thanks also for organising the sun to come out and the rain to stay away!
