Now don?t get me wrong but I am the first to give credit to staff where it is due and I have done so in the past, however, today was the day where I finally made the decision to change pharmacy. I have been a loyal boots pharmacy customer for years and after today?s experience I can honestly say that I will NEVER step foot in tollgate boots again. I find the whole experience of collecting a prescription completely overwhelming and stressful. My usual monthly prescription was sent to boots yesterday morning, 2 simple items, nothing out of the ordinary. I waited a good half an hour (shorter than normal actually) to be served to then be told my prescription isn?t ready, fair enough I wasn?t expecting it to be ready and was happy to wait like I do each month. I got the impression my prescription was being processed out of the store and therefore it wasn?t ?due to be collected for a few days?. I explained to the lady serving that I am due to work 3 nights in a row and I would prefer to wait than have to come back and go through the inconvenience of coming back and queuing again. She refused. Apparently it?s a 3 day wait for a prescription now! Ridiculous! I couldn?t even be bothered to argue this one out because they really do not care about their customers anymore. I politely asked her to return my prescription to the spine, had a frustrating cry in my car then went straight to marks tey pharmacy who were more than happy to process my prescription immediately.I don?t ask for much I really don?t. I am a patient person, I understand the pressures of short staffing etc but I don?t appreciate being made to feel so undervalued. What?s happened boots? What?s happened to going ?above and beyond? for your customers? What?s happened to kindness and caring? Dreadful dreadful service.

So far I have called 85 times and no answer this is the case every time I have called in the past also.you can never contact them unless you go into the pharmacy

Service has got a great deal worse recently. Long queues and drive thru is never open. Collections and drop offs queue all together making pick up slow. Changed to another pharmacy now.

Better when they used the drive-through, and they no longer deliver from Tollgate either.

Waited 45 minutes to get some help, there are two desks one for prescription and one for advice, I was waiting where everyone was queuing by the prescriptions as there was no one at the advice till then I saw a lady get served by the advice till so I went over to the section I actually needed to where she walked off without informing me that no one can serve me here as it?s shut.I stood there like a mong for about 15mins to where then a man (customer) raised his voice at me to say that ?there is a queue? to which I responded ?I need the advice table not prescription? any how instead of helping me and defending me from the old enough man to be my dad, the pharmacist behind the counter shouted saying the lady is on break so go to the back of the other queue which was the prescriptions queue quite embarrassing for me as everyone was staring!this is where I get so frustrated, while waiting a lady skipped the queue I would say about 7/8 people were waiting and not one of the pharmacists bothered telling her there?s a queue but would happily embarrass me and shout at me to move, anyway 20mins gone by lady comes back from break to which the man goes ?the advice section is now open again? the lad has some attitude in him. So I make my way back over there getting annoyed now.spoke to the women who just got back from her break for her to say she?s serving someone already but she?s just got back from her break? Waited more, my turn YAY FINALLY, I basically told her what my GP told me I?m not a doctor or a nurse I know nothing about medication Hense why the advice desk is there, for her to then tell me I could of just got the tablets I needed from the store and didn?t needed to wait in line, I didn?t know what I needed and I didn?t know what dosage I needed so maybe less attitude and more advice as it is the advice desk as I have mention, any way if you want to wait about 45 minutes, get attitude and get shouted at then this is the perfect place for you.sort it out.

When you turn up to find the chemist shut when meant to be open and the staff do not even answer the phone when calling for over 15mins. Worst service ever. For a disabled person the dive though was perfect for me but now I am unable to go into the shop to collect medication due to needs and the drive though Closed. Wednesday at 14.30!!!!!!!!!!

Inefficient! 3 visits to collect a prescription because their staff aren't fully trained. Pot luck if the drive thru is ever open. The closure of Lloyds pharmacy in Sainsbury?s means this branch needs to serve the community to a higher standard. Currently lacking.

Joke of a pharmacy loads of staff doing nothing slow cue and only serve at 1 counter but not made clear and actually pointless having the other counter go to sainburys across the Rd much better service

Not enough staff. They work in the smallest area and do the most work. Waiting an hour to be served and then have to wait again for the item.

Lovely staff as usual, but as usual, massive queues for pharmacy.

Oh wow, I wanted over the counter medication but AS USUAL there was nobody serving so I had to queue for 40 minutes. NOT GOOD ENOUGH BOOTS. Keep over the counter and pharmacy separate. While I?m at it, the manicure shelves are always empty, I mean for WEEKS at a time, it never seems to get replenished, dirty floors and generally a little run down. You make enough profit to sort this out Boots, first job get the medicine counter staffed and if it?s quiet give them a mop and bucket. Sorted.??

As a Boots, it's fine, as a pharmacy it's beyond terrible. Queues that wind around the aisles of the shop that never drop. There's always about 4 staff behind the counter but no one serves, they just run around avoiding eye contact. The one pharmacist they have just seems to walk around and talk to people. As I write this I've just finished a 22 minute podcast episode and I haven't moved a centre meter in the queue. There's 6 people in front of me and 4 people behind me. This place is a joke but Boots will apparently do nothing to rectify it. - Bring a book if you're coming here.Edit - 15 minutes after posting this and I'm *still* in the queue.Edit 2: after queuing for almost 45 minutes I was told that they don't have the prescriptions because; they have so many prescriptions they farm it out to the Boots' warehouse to be filled and they're be delivered tomorrow. I said, "yeah, nah. This prescription was submitted over a week ago, plus I'm not here tomorrow. " they told me that " well, I've have a look to see if we have the stock."5 minutes later they return. They magically have everything in stock now and can make the prescription up now... so, basically Boots want you to queue for 45 minutes to then tell you to go away and come back tomorrow as they don't have the stock, but then when asked they do in fact have the stock. Oh, and there's still 9 people in the queue. I wonder how many of them will be asked to come back tomorrow due to stock that they have...

very helpful staff behind the pharmacy, once you can get to speak to someone as they never have enough staff

Not only an extremely slow queue at pharmacy but apparently you just need to walk up to the till and you?ll get served. Don?t worry about the people who have been patiently queueing. Apparently, they didn?t know who was next. Great customer service that is.

Sadly the service here has really gone down hill. Never enough staff at the pharmacy so you have to queue for over 30 minutes most if the time. Drive through is only open sometimes. In the last 3 days I have tried to pick up my prescription 4 times, failed the first 3 times because the queue was so long I didn't have 45 mins to waste queuing. The last time, which was this morning, there was no pharmacist to check the medication so they couldn't give it to me. Going to look for somewhere that understands service.
