Just want to say a massive thankyou to the staff at colcheste eoe coop travel, used them a few times before but this was the first time i was lead traveler so i was most involved with them, and everything from booking the holiday right to recieving our boarding passes they were excellent, polite and friendly all the way through, made me feel at ease every time, totally recommend!!!

I have had a fantastic experience with cooperative travel in Colchester Town, I spoke to Ataya. A very knowledgeable, passionate member of staff. I was looking to take my family to Disneyland and I had priced this up based on the Eurostar online, but I wanted to check in a travel agents with a trusted company, Ataya made it £200 per person cheaper choosing flight option. That?s £800 saving from what I was going to book online! 100% worth booking through a travel agent, particularly when they have such fantastic customer service.

Absolutely terrible service. 1 star is still too much.Completely avoid. Anyone thinking of using co-op to book their travel should simply do it themselves. We thought we would have a layer of security booking with a familiar company who claim to be for the community, however this was far from the case.They simply do an internet search, as could be done by anyone and sell you a holiday with another provider. Despite my better judgement I decided to book a holiday to Alanya Turkey, which was ultimately with Jet 2 . When we were shown the images of our accommodation we were shown images of villas, which is what we wanted and went ahead with the booking. However it was our own further research that identified that this was not the type of accommodation that we had been sold by co-op and that if we wanted the villas we would have to pay a further £2000. We were met with hostile response from co-op staff when we voiced our disappointment. We were told that it?s not their fault and that we should cancel our booking with them if not happy and loose our deposit. They pride themselves as a travel agent and yet knew very little of the accommodation types they were selling us. So we proceeded with little option.Unfortunately I suffered with food poising whilst in Turkey and was in contact with the Jet 2 representative that was onsite. He supported us and logged a complaint.Having returned to the UK and now following the complaint up with Jet 2, I decided to contact co-op for support from them and was again met with hostile response and that because I started the complaint with Jet 2 I will have to follow up and they would not do anything. What choice was I left with than to speak with Jet 2, when they have a rep at the hotel and provide 24/7 support via WhatsApp and email. Something co-op does not.To summarise, DO NOT book any travel through co-op. In our case they simply performed an internet search, poorly identified what they were selling and sent us away. I?ll continue to follow up the complaint with Jet 2 myself. Next time I?ll go direct to them.

Ok, with the help of Kelly and her extreme patience, after 20 odd visits and questions, I finally booked my first holiday away. Without her help, and kindness and support, I would never have been able to do it. To be able to enjoy a nice chat outside of holiday stresses, made me feel extremely comfortable. I can't say how highly I would recommend both Kelly and Ataya for their wonderful help. Thank you all so much again.

Would 100% recommend this travel agents to others. All staff professional and extremely helpful, going above and beyond to cater for all needs when it comes to booking a holiday. No stress, a joy to book a holiday through them ! Keep up the good work ladies !

Diabolical would be me being generous..Not been away for 3 years, and had many questions regarding surplus charges, when getting a single room for one person.I was initially told to give my details and Kelly the employee here would get back to me. Felt that was strange as I wanted more of an independent discussion on avaliable holidays and to look at pictures ect. The gentalman next to me wanst asked to leave his details and to wait for a reply?Any how, Kelly asks me if I have an attitude problem, and says I'm extreamly aggressive asking about double bedrooms.Never had customer service like it in my life, and I'm absolutely shocked, that Kelly hasn't recieved more bad reviews on accusing people of being randomly aggressive when asking about double bedrooms at a hotel.She also refused to give me her name so I could make a Complaint but luckily her colleague had given it to me.Never using the coop travel agents again, absolute madness and service.
