Used their service on Just Eat to buy some groceries for my sister who had run out of food. Made the mistake of telling them I had ordered for her, as I live a long distance away. Not only was the guy rude, when the order showed up at her house, more than half of the £13 order was missing. For that much to missing off such a small order, it was deliberate or catastrophically lazy.I am so angry. I had to then order her a takeaway, because the grocery shops had shut. Disgusting service. Horrible shop. Don't use.

Usually really nice in there but the blonde lady with the curley hair who works Saturday mornings doesn't like black people so it kind of ruined my shopping experience as a black person. Rest of the staff are nice tho

Rude as usual. constantly giving the wrong cigarette brand when you have clearly asked, asking for ID when I'm 30+ and clearly look it every time... do your job properly.... don't blame us because you don't look or listen...

Unless it's an emergency, I'd recommend going a little further to one of the other shops nearby.Staff member on tills was rude and confusing - as I put my shopping down I asked for a bag, but he ignored me. (Was talking to a colleague though, and he was rude to her too). Then after he'd finished scanning my shopping I asked again for a bag & got one that time. Then once the card transaction went through, I asked for a receipt - but he'd already walked away before I'd even taken my card out. He was annoyed about that, told me it would've been easier if I'd asked for one...I asked for a receipt because I literally watched him scan something I hadn't put down, and then put that item down behind the counter instead of with my shopping - apparently one of my items doesn't scan, so he used something else instead. That makes sense but I don't know why they'd expect customers not to challenge them on that if they don't say anything. It seems well stocked, although there's definitely too many people allowed in at once social-distancing wise. No hand sanitiser on the door either despite the signage - there's a safety divider on one of the checkouts but I'd to reach under this to collect my shopping anyway.

?One Stop is convenient , so happy it is open until 10p.m on Sundays.?The prices are decent, we like that. ??Staff can be either really nice or really rude. The last time I went, the guy at the till was really nice. But the time before that, I was unpleasantly surprised because the two guys at the till were talking about football and not serving the customers. The tall man barely said hello and made me wait even though he wasn't doing anything and barely said goodbye.??One Stop deserves better. Colchester deserves better. Get some decent staff that doesn't act like customers are rats.?

Just moved to the area and popped in to pick up a few bits. Nice layout and well stocked. Staff seemed to be quite rude and the assistant that served me was more worried about their conversation with someone else rather than serving me.

Beautiful interior! High class décor! Upon entrance I was greeted by a suited up employee and i was offered champagne and caviar. While I was purchasing my groceries my coat was kindly hanged in the wardrobe. A personal assistant advised me by choosing the finest of their dry aged beef products. He also pointed my to the wine cellar. Bach was playing subtly in the background as I was offered some shrimps by a beautiful regional hostess. I would kindly like to thank every staff member for their professional conduct and their rather jolly atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic! Unforgettable shopping experience in the finest local shop!

I have found the staff very helpful and always friendly. I am petrified of shop floors and become really anxious. So to know I am safe whilst shopping here really helps.?

Hardly ever need to go there but when forced, it is just horrible most of the staff are rude and unpleasant !!!
This needs to be addressed as it is clearly a problem must customers have with the place.
Couple months ago I was there and staff where slagging of some customer while they should been serving at the till, then Last and final time I was there I was given £18 in change all in 20p coins!!!!!!
How is it possible for a shop to not have any change other than 20p coins
Change the staff and the shop would be a handy place for people to pick up stuff, now it is only when forced will anyone go there
I wont go back
