We ordered a dinning table from ScS. Paid in full for delivery and set up. We were advised it will be delivered on the 4th of August. On the 3rd of August we went into store to confirm delivery time for the 4th, then we were advised it will no longer be delivered on the 4th, we should expect delivery for the 14th of August. As if that was not enough disappointment, we got a text on Fri 11th advising your dining table will be delivered on the 22nd of August. ScS is very unreliable, poor communication and all in all full of lies. The staff were not even apologetic in any of these. I would not recommend you buy your furniture from ScS.

Amy and Sue!Amy and Sue, are two of the BEST sales women I have ever come across. From entering the store to a welcoming greet from Amy, who then continued to offer myself and a friend a drink. In my first visit to the store Amy was just amazing, she gave me all the information I could need as I was browsing, she made sure that I knew where she was if I did have any questions or for when I was ready to make my decision. As I was leaving having not made up my mind I was then approached by Sue who was absolutely fabulous! She almost had me, but I had to leave without placing an order although I did promise I would be back as she HAD sold the suite I was looking at to me. And with that, I did indeed return a week later. I went through and completed my order with Amy, Sue unfortunately was not in this day. Amy was very thorough, she took her time to make sure I knew exactly what my order was and how things would work. I couldn?t have asked for better service.Amy was just amazing and for a young lady who hasn?t actually been working in the store for that long, she was great. I really do wish her the best and a successful career moving forward.Amy & Sue, thank you so much!PS. I will be back for that footstool!

Walked in and was welcomed but was told totally the wrong info around ordering a carpet the sales person got the delivery fee wrong and even the amount you need to spend to qualify for finance. we left the store and returned a few hours later where we were approached by another sales person when we explained that we spoke to someone else they went to get her and its like she could not even be bothered to come over and still was adamant the delivery fee was double the amount it should of been. GO TO THE BASILDON BRANCH THEY ARE MORE HELPFUL AND KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT

We ordered our carpet and 2x sofas from here... We are hoping to get the in 8:weeks as specified! Not stuck in Europe somewhere or on a container in Felixstow!!! Bit worrying.?Otherwise nice n friendly staff, explained everything... And a Sale was on too.??

I ordered a bench on November 2021. Was supposed to arrive in January then March rhen May then finally June 2022 came. But they delivered 1of the 6 parts supposed to be delivered.I called them for a week and they still failed to solve the issue today! I am very angry so not buy with them they will deliver next year !

Staff were helpful and very competitive in pricing. Recently purchased two items of furniture with electric recliners.The two guys who came to deliver were simply amazing and having just decorated the hallway watched them in with the sofa like a hawk and...... Nothing even touched close to the walls or paintwork!Only reduced from 5 stars to 4 as the day of delivery we were supposed to get a call the day before or at latest the morning of the delivery and nothing came, we rung the head office three times and for some reason could not track the delivery. It was confirmed that it was paid for but no further detail on delivery. The guys eventually turned up at around 5pm and had obviously been rushed off their feet all day but we're still cheerful and pleasant. In fact their attitudes and care in setting up the furniture saved the company from a complaint about the delivery fiasco. All worked out in the end and we are very pleased with the quality and price of our new sofa.

I just want to say the the staff are really lovely and helpful in this store. However, SCS carpets are shocking. Ordered a carpet in December 2021 and was told it would be in store by the first week of February. It did not arrive and I had to repeatedly call to find out when it would be arriving (because nobody was calling me). I was given three separate arrival dates throughout February. Then arranging fitting was a nightmare. I had fitting cancelled 3 separate times. The first time SCS did not realise that they had arranged a fitting and the other two times the fitter was sick (do they only have one person fitting carpets?). By this time we are now in April!!! I tried to make a complaint to the complaints team but apparently SCS does not have a complaints team. I was offered a full refund but I had to go backwards and forwards between the flooring team and the store. I eventually had to go and sit in the store until it was sorted. You could not even make up this level of poor service. I then went to another carpet company and the time duration between order and fitting was 11 days.

Gentleman who helped us was not pushy but very helpful. I hate going to buy something and your jumped on, that is a sure way to get no sale from me, I just leave the store. Would have been a five star but a lady who worked there was sitting at a desk on the landing as we had been upstairs looking at sofas and one that caught our eye had no price on so when she asked if everything was okay my husband asked about the price and went back upstairs with her, I carried on going downstairs as I have trouble getting up and downstairs. He came back down and the sofa was out of our price range and we had seen a couple of sofas downstairs which we liked and the gentleman was now helping us but the lady came downstairs seemed to be looking for us and when she saw the man helping us,she called him over and seemed to be having ago at him. He never said anything but my husband and I were saying oops looks like he is in trouble.

Said they would call me back Wednesday absolute latest and had nothing back from them, its now Friday. Not sure they care about customer service.They currently are refusing to speak to me due to the fact that my partner is the account holder even though they have my contact details saved and its being delivered to my house.Ordered a sofa and had 0 communication around the whereabouts of it is.We went into your Dartford store for an update, they said they would get Lakeside (where we ordered from to call us). Your lakeside colleague rang me not my partner on Monday to discuss that she would call me back THE LATEST WEDNESDAY once she had spoken to the supplier to find out more info. ITS NOW FRIDAY AND WE HAVE WAITED 18 WEEKS FOR OUR SOFA! We was initially told 2 weeks before or after October 1st.

We went into the store at lakeside scs and was shown around by Zoe who was very helpfuland pleasant to talk to. We purchased carpets for the whole house and also bought a setteeall in all we were satisfied with the assistance from Zoe.
